I bought the Tendist LED Boat Lights Strip 50FT, IP67 Marine LED Strip and the 9.8 foot waterproof boat light extension cord. The connectors on the lights and extension cord were not compatible. I send an email to the Tendist company and their customer service responded quickly. They acknowledged that the LED lights were not compatible and immediately sent me a new set of LED lights. Very bright and had no issue with being easily broken at all. One set was delivered that had a broken end on it and i contacted them and the next day they had a new set delivered to replace those. I purchased these lights for my pontoon boat that I was rebuilding. I put them under the deck as ground lighting. Less than a year one section failed so I contacted Tendist. They replaced them with no questions asked. They even upgraded to a newer light. Thats GREAT service. Thank You Tendist

These light strips seem to be holding up well. I have had them in my boat for a little over a month now and they are still working fine. While the double sided tape isn’t the greatest, I was able to install them without much trouble. I just zip-tied them in place. Be careful when going around corners as you can easily break the conductor within. At one of the bends I made I don’t have all the colors working. They are bright but not too bright. ... show more

I bought these lights and needed a little extra length wires. When I reached out to customer service, they were very friendly and helped me out very quickly. If you need lights for your boat, these are the lights to get. Great Job Tendist!!

    • When they work, they work great; however they break super easily
these strips aren't particularly difficult to install other than the fact that you better make sure you get the placement right the first time; because if you get it wrong and try to move the strip or put any extra pressure on the strip after its attached the light strand will break and cause the remaining section of the strip to no longer light up. Even putting a little pressure on the strand after attached perfectly will cause it to break; ruining all your hard work. I wish they would have reinforced the back of the strip in any form or fashion to help prevent them from breaking! ... show more
