Like most people, I have weird feet. Hammer toes on my right foot from years and thousands of miles of backpacking and pretty collapsed arches on both. There were quite a few buzz words drawing me to this shoe but the most important being “comfortable”. While I would agree that these are the most comfortable intermediately aggressive shoe I’ve worn, it comes with some drawbacks. I took the advice of some gear reviewers and bought a US 8.5 when I’m primarily an 11 in street shoes and out of the box they fit perfectly tight with enough room to have some dexterity with my toes. After some time on the wall, though, the band that wraps around my Achilles loosened and ultimately my heel didn’t feel as secure as when it did strapping them on for the first time. Furthermore there is a seam running along the top of the shoe that really digs when smearing. They’re using vibram xs grip instead of the more modern xs grip 2 - a grippier, more sensitive rubber that really molds to your feet. These feel really similar to the evolv nexxo with a higher volume heel. Ultimately I wish I had returned them, but maybe they’ll work great for you. ... show more

These shoes are awesome. Right out of the box and on my feet. Felt like slippers. Great sleeve inside and the strap is adjustable for my support in the toe or the heel. People comment on the colors all the time. The fit was a little large when I sized it to my standard shoe but it would be too short if I went down a 1/2. I just have narrow feet. Get these if want to have comfort while sending difficult problems. ... show more
