The item included twenty approximately 4-ft long garden stakes (hollow metal stakes coated with plastic), and a bag of green zip-ties. The item also includes the 60-feet long roll of green plastic fencing. The fence system arrived packaged in plastic bags within a long cardboard box. The stakes appear thicker and sturdier than similar stakes that I have purchased at the local garden center in the past. (very nice stakes). The plastic fence is similar to, but noticeable thinner than the orange plastic safety/traffic fence that I use on my job. However, it appears sufficiently thick and durable for my intended use. Every Spring a large section of my backyard gets very wet and muddy, and this fence will be set up to keep my dogs away from the muddy sections of the yard. My evaluation of this fence system is that it will be very easy to set up, easy to take down and store, and I should get at least several seasons of use from this fence. I like this fence.

This temporary fencing kit comes with everything you need: plastic mesh fencing material, 20 coated stakes, and a bag of cable ties, all color coordinated. That’s the good part. You don’t have to wander around the hardware store gathering the bits you need. Not having priced this type of plastic fencing recently, I’m not positive if this product is a good price but I think it is based on past experience. There are some aspects I like less. The fencing material is the thinnest I’ve ever seen of this type. But I haven’t bought any in probably 10 years so this may be how they make it now. The stakes are adequate for temporary installation where you don’t want to drive T posts. They could be longer. After hammering the first in to where it held somewhat solid, it was shorter than the fencing. Still workable since I’m just enclosing some leaves to let them rot. I’m going to take off one star for the thinness of the fencing and the shortness of the stakes but give the product overall 4 stars for the convenience of being able to have the whole set delivered to my doorstep, ready to install.

My neighbor and i share a fence line and we have an old, decrepit cedar picket fence that is ready to come down. I actually plan to install a large shed along some portaion of it, and then replace the rest of the fenece to the end of the property line which goes down a steep hill. We have a dog, however, so getting into the project will mean that I need to put up some kind of temporary fencing over there while the construction is going. This temporary fencing will work perferce this job.It's about 40" high so a good height for a temporary fence. The fence posts are a plastic coated metal construction, so they're not super heavy duty but they also don't really have to be. They just need to hold up the weight of the plastric coated plastic fence material for the time being. I priced this out using bare bones T-Posts at my local big box hardware store, and the value here is a significant savings over that. For that reason, you can't beat this for what you are getting if you have a project like mine.

Used this to block off a section of my backyard to confine my dog to one side for going to the bathroom. This was a perfect temporary solution since I have no fears of her trying to destroy it or try to get past it, since she just needed a visual cue. However, if you need something that will actually keep out animals, you may want to look at something with a little bit more material in it. The plastic netting works well, but it is a thin plastic that cuts super easily with a scissors. If my dog were so inclined, she could chew her way through in a manner of seconds. The provided stakes are adequate but I did initially think they were only plastic/fiberglass due to the (minor) flex in them. However, I do wish the stakes had been longer. At 4' tall and supporting netting that is 3.5' tall, this means you're only getting 6 inches of stake in the ground. I'd have preferred to get a foot of stake in the ground, minimum. I used a plastic-faced dead blow hammer to install the stakes and one began to flatten/crush/deform because it caught a rock or piece of cement. So, do use caution when hammering the stakes in. I live in a windy area (hence my reason for wanting the stakes further in the ground) so we shall see how well this holds up. I placed the stakes 4' apart (just used one on the ground as a measuring device) and initial impression is that is should hold up reasonably well. (we have 16mph winds today) If not, I've got plenty of steel conduit material I can use as better/longer posts. Overall a decent temporary fence at a fair price point that is easy to install. I can recommend.

We put this up along our tree line to prevent balls from rolling back there. The green is a very different green than the green of our grass or trees. But the fencing itself is amazing. It has stopped every ball that has rolled that way. It even stopped a playful 6 yr old who jumped into it. The netting is a thick plastic. We attached it to the stakes pretty easily with the zip ties that were included. It was a very simple set up. And it does exactly what I wanted it to do.

I installed this fence to keep my dogs from getting muddy around the perimeter of my yard during the fall and winter months. It is just tall enough to deter them from trying to jump it and the included stakes are strong enough to keep it vertical. Very happy with this product.
