I set this fencing up about a month ago when we lost part of our fencing. I’m using it to keep two small/medium, well trained dogs from leaving the yard. The product is as described. The zip ties are holding up well and show no signs of wear after being exposed to the elements for a month. Same for the poles. I had no problem hammering them into slightly soft ground. (I mention “well trained dogs” because besides not being very tall, this type of fencing is meant to be temporary. Any dog, regardless of size could either push through, jump over, or slide under if they really wanted to. It’s more appropriate for blocking off areas than for containment purposes.) ... show more

Good quality. It doesn’t feel too thin. What I didn’t like was that the tops of the stakes kind of break, the covering comes off, when you hammer it into the ground.

I’m giving 5 stars because this provided exactly what I needed which was to cover areas of a downed fence due to the last hurricane. It was packaged well and I easily put it up by myself. (60 yr old for reference) For me it is temporary so my dogs can have freedom in the yard but I can see that it could protect a tree or garden long term. I did purchase u-shaped metal stakes to anchor the bottom and it has remained standing even during thunderstorms. ... show more

Purchased this item as a temporary solution to keep my canine kids from accessing a muddy part of our backyard. I used about 25ft and six poles and connected one side to a fence pole and the other side to our deck. This setup worked fine until it was windy, and then a couple of poles snapped off at the ground (soil in my area is mostly clay). This is a very useful product to protect areas of the lawn from our dog. We had to do some re-seeding in parts of the lawn and needed to keep the dog away from them. This fence is long enough that we were able to use it in 2 separate areas. You may want to add some more zip ties, but not that many. The kit does have zip ties and poles. We used 4 ft intervals between poles. Although this fence is just for temporary use, it does the job. We rolled it back up to have for future uses. ... show more
