First the good. My son loves it. He has been playing with it since we put it together. I'd be a liar if I said I didn't play with it a little also. Cool idea and pretty fun LITTLE unit. I deducted two stars for a couple of reasons. 1st the picture shown is incredibly misleading. This is worse than the pictures in your local fast food joint showing succulent delicious tall fluffy burgers, only to find a flat soggy mess in the box when you open it. The description does indicate the size so I recommend reviewing the specifications before purchase. Buyer beware so I'm going to eat the cost since I didn't read through that part or the comments. I also removed stars because since the size is not accurately represented, the cars are much smaller than expected. I believe they will eventually find their way under the couch, in the laundry, under a tv stand, possibly sucked up in a vacuum. Also the item seems to be a little more flimsy than I had anticipated. I'm hoping it doesn't get broken but time will tell. Overall it's a fun LITTLE toy. This toy is only about 9x9” and the pictures makes it look like a huge toy. The parts are small and some are easy to break. I’m saying that, I must also say that all my grandkids from 2-13 are intrigued by how it operates and stand in line for turns. I was concerned when I saw it’s size that my 2 yr old grandson would have a hard time operating it, but did not. He caught on quick and really enjoys it. It should be used with caution around babies, as the cars are very small. We have had a couple of parts to easily break and they are not replaceable. I should have read reviews, ratings, and dimensions before purchasing. I found this on a lightening deal and thought it was a steal and got excited so I clicked the purchase button before thinking. It's not a terrible toy, I was just disappointed when I received it. It was half the size I thought it was and honestly the cars are a huge choking hazard so don't let your child play with it unattended. It's easy to assemble and simple to figure out how to use, my almost 3 year old got the hang of it pretty quickly. Hopefully you won't be as disappointed as I was when you receive it! ... show more

I wish there was just one tiny adjustments to the spinning wheels section. They turn to have the car move with a little ramp assist but the ramp doesn't lift high enough for the last wheel by like..1mm (very minor) but it just bugs me lol. My son doesn't seem to mind but it just kinda interrupts the nice cycle the toy was designed to perform. Also, the size in the picture is deceptively large. Actual item is smaller (I bought the bigger version too. The smaller version is wayyyyy small. Had to return that one) ... show more

This item is smaller and more cheaply made than portrayed. I wouldn't have ordered it, had I gotten a more realistic view beforehand. Definitely is not for the ages expressed. It is a GREAT toy my grandsons loved it! BUT it is very small, not like ad pictures and the cars are tiny- the boys lost them the first couple days (probably to the couch black whole). Some of the small parts are too easy to take apart and swallow so I wouldn’t recommend for under age 3 or 4. It’s a great concept and works without batteries (a plus). This is a fun small toy. You have to flip levers and things to have the cars move through the track. The boys loved it. It leaned more toward the 5 year old rather than the 3 year old. From picture I was expecting a much larger play set. The cars are the size of a quarter…bought for a Christmas toy donation so kept it but not too sure how long it will last after putting plastic pieces all together! Would return if I paid full price of $39.99…not sure it’s worth the $18 spent.
