- TEMCo Tinned Copper - marine grade battery cable ends are made from 99.91% annealed tinned pure copper (Lead and Mercury FREE), providing a high degree of conductivity for maximum current flow and designed with a heavy-duty construction for high temperature durability and enhanced mechanical strength. Terminal ends will not degrade in high temperature conditions.
- PRECISION FIT. High-tolerance dies are used in the molding process. Flared opening for easy wire insertion.
- CLOSED END CONSTRUCTION keeps electrical components, batteries and cables safe and free from moisture, and prevents solder from leaking during installation. When paired with TEMCo adhesive heat shrink tubing will prevent corrosion by sealing out moisture.
- Tinned copper wire lugs are corrosion free; (Salt Spray certified to JISZ2371) ideal for marine, automotive or outdoor use. Special matte tin plating make these lugs easy to solder Designed for durability and rated for up to 600V DC when properly installed.
- Choose from a variety of wire sizes from 6 AWG to 4/0 AWG and stud sizes from 14 to 12 that fits your application; Can be crimped (best method) or soldered. Works on solid or stranded wire. NOTE: Audio wire may not be direct fit. Recommend to use a size or two larger terminal than the gauge of the audio wire.

E use these Temco terminals at my school to teach auto techs and electricians how to build very high amp 12 volt cables. We never use crimpers or anvils. We dip the cable ends in hot solder and then use these terminals in a vise as a pot to propane-torch them and feed about 8" of 1/16" tin-lead solder into them, then gradually feed the tinned cable into the hot terminal, so that when done, from one lug at one end to the other lug at the other end of the cable, it is * one piece of metal* ! The terminal thickness is great, and the size just accommodates the 2 AWG cable that we use. They are easy to use when feeding 1/16" thick solder into them when heating them with a propane torch, and when you heat shrink wrap to seal them, you get a professional function and look.

I've ordered crimp lug fittings several times and really appreciate the fact that they are solid copper. These are easy to use, if you're paying the extra money for pure copper wire why would anyone use very slightly lower priced crimp lugs that are of a questionable material and quality? Good quality terminal for 2awg. Die #2 doesn't work well and test with die for 3 awg and then the crimp is very good.

I used the terminals in wiring a golf cart as part of a restoration and upgrade. The terminals are excellent. I used a professional crimper to attach them to #2 awg wire. I did need to drill out some of the holes to 5/16” to fit some component terminals, but this was no fault of the supplier of the terminals. There was more than sufficient material to drill out the holes. These are an excellent product.

As a shop owner I have a number of wholesale options for terminals but from time to time my suppliers don't have the ones I need or don't have enough of them on hand. Temco always has them and sometimes they're even less expensive than my wholesalers. Product is ok, but they ship FedEx, and in our area FedEx is not good, Drivers is rude and often they misship the package. When you complain to FedEx they Say they have problems in this area "Sorry". Maybe leaving the review here will convince the sellers to offer other shippers.
