I'm obviously not black but the designs are so cute that I had to get one. Picked the black girl magic edition and centered it onto a blank shirt. A simple iron on medium and a few up and down over the transfer design sheet was all it took to be on the shirt. I don't recommend using high settings as you can burn or damage the design. Threw the shirt into the washer to finalize it and dry on low tumble...just like, the design on the shirt is beautiful, you can see the quality of both the design and the print . Really pleased with these designs. There was plenty to choose from and the styles meant that my family of 8 were all able to find something we liked. Package doesn't come with instructions, I came back here to find out how to use them. I did adjust things a bit for better results. I set my home iron (no heat press) to Cotton and turned off the steam setting. Press the area on the shirt first to remove any moisture and wrinkles. Then place your design. Cover design with a piece of parchment paper (like the kind you line your cookie sheets with. Not freezer or butcher paper-those both have a shiny side that will adhere under heat to your shirt or iron and may mess up your design.) Press the iron on one area of your design. I like to start from one side and work my way to the other. Press a little hard so you apply some firm pressure. Doesn't need to be excessive pressure. Press for 10 seconds then move on to the next area of the design. Overlap areas so none of the design in missed. Continue until the whole area is pressed. Make sure you get the edges well. This page says to wait 10 seconds before peeling, but I found that wasn't enough time. We waited until the design was almost completely cooled before we had a successful peel. If you begin peeling too early and the design is still on the carrier, press that area again. I strongly recommend waiting until the design is cool to the touch or only slightly warm. These look great on the shirt, the colors transferred really well and the design is crisp. Would buy again. ... show more

*Size* of transfers were not clearly stated. AI said it had mixed reviews regarding the size. That’s not surprising, since the sizes vary, which I think is great. I can iron-on clothes (and other items) for both children and adults (see size variation in pic) without having to buy multiple packages. ** I included a 1US$ (~ 6” long) in pic for reference, so you can see there are mainly 3 different sizes. Colors look solid and modern, but I have not used them yet. Once I do, and after a few washes, I will update this review to include durability. ... show more

These ironed on quite well. I did have to help a couple that didn't won't to adhere, but was able to work it out. My only concern was with some of the wording, and that could be to translation issues. So be sure to really check the images for proper wording before you iron down your project 😅
