Ignore all the reviews complaining about the weight of the ladder being heavy, first of all it tells you in the item description how much it weighs so there is no surprise... Second, its a telescoping ladder, meaning the side rails are hollow so that it can compress into itself, you don't want it to be super light because it would be more flimsy than it already is and wouldn't be able to support the weight of an average human. That's the compromise you have to make to get a ladder this tall to fit in your closet, maybe there is a material they could make it out of to be lighter and still support your weight, but you'd be paying probably in the thousands for it.. The ladder does its job for home use, I reduced a star because it's not exactly the safest ladder to use, my advice is just handle the ladder slowly and carefully when both extending it and compacting it, it is heavy so you could crush your hand if you're not taking your time and paying attention when adjusting it. You also want to be as gentle as possible when climbing/extending/compressing the ladder, it does feel like being to rough with it might break the latches that allow it to stay extended with your weight on it. Other than that I got most of the things handled on my two story house that I needed to do with it, as long as it doesn't break on me for the few times ill need to use it over the next several years, I'd consider it worth the purchase. Consider something else if you're looking for something for daily use, it doesn't feel like it could keep up with that kind of use for long. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. How often do you go up a ladder empty handed? You want a stronger ladder. This one you can have two people on. It extends and extends some more. The only thing I don't like about this ladder is that when extended, the rungs are slim. Other than that, this thing is great and I'm happy that I got it. Adjusting the ladder 🪜 which is 16.5 ft is super easy! In fact I had it in a bunch of them, to see how well it did. It's not a wall hugger. It isn't bad when extended a bit. I finished putting some wood board on a small roof extension on a deck I built and also finish a roof on the detached garage this amazing ladder went all the way up I felt secure on it all of the time. It didn't wobble and gripped to the dirt not even cement but it did very well. Oh is very portable as big as it is and heavy moving this ladder is a piece of cake, it has wheels so you can move freely anywhere, so many good things about it, so well constructed and multifunctional. I did purchase this one for the different adjustments it could make. I wanted the most out of it, that I could get. Even a quick plank scaffold (plank extra). Good for dicing tree branches. Also, adjusting it for the stairs, is a cinch. My brother in law has one of those TV store foldable ladders and he struggles to get it in the stair position. I just pulled this and that and was ready in seconds, best ladder I ever bought and I had buy so many but this won my heart. ... show more

I really wanted to like this product the idea is great and maneuverability concept was amazing. However, the ladder isn’t safe. Other than the wobble while climbing and the buckling inward, you can’t use this as an A ladder unless it’s fully extended. Otherwise it won’t lock causing it to lean toward and eventually tilt. This is not stated in the website description and there is a photo telling you otherwise. The photos are a bit misleading when it comes to A ladder “small” or on a staircase. As an extension ladder it’s great but your better off just purchasing extension ladder only due to the weight. This ladder weighs a whopping 45-50lbs. ... show more

Pretty heavy overall, and there's definitely a learning curve unless you've worked with collapsing a frame ladders before.... But not as difficult as some folks videos make it seem. I'm a 59 year old 5 ft tall woman. And I can manage it okay and it's not too hard once you figure it out better. It's a good ladder. Stability only lost the star because this type of ladder just isn't quite as sturdy as the old school extension ladders. But for its type it still gets a five-star overall. ... show more
