Description

The Tekton Mini Pry Bar Set (6-Piece) has two mini pry bars with 30-degree angled ends, two mini pry bars with 50-degree angled ends, and two straight mini pry bars. Three of the mini pry bars have a 5/32 inch shaft diameter, and three have a 1/4 inch shaft diameter. The 30-degree angled ends provide a range of motion for prying and lifting components within tight spaces. The 50-degree ends provide a greater range of motion for prying and lifting components than most other small pry bars. The classic square handles are long and slender with contoured sides for overall versatility and maneuverability. The handles are made from glass-reinforced nylon that's resistant to fuels, oils, and chemicals. All items in this set feature AISI 8650 steel shafts that are made from a strong Ni-Cr-Mo alloy that's hardened to 50–54 HRC. Our family of mini pry bar, pick, and hook products is made entirely in Michigan with only USA-sourced materials. Machining, bending, coining, handle molding, and press-fitting the handle and blade take place at our Grand Rapids, Michigan, manufacturing facility.

The media could not be loaded. This Tekton mini pry bar set is exactly what I was looking for. The first thing I noticed is how well they fit in my hand. A lot of other brands make pry bars that are way too small and feel like toothpicks, but these have a longer handle and better proportions, which makes them much easier to control. The grip feels solid, and the nylon handles are comfortable without being slippery. The tips are sharp and precise, and the different angles are perfect for getting into tight spots where a screwdriver or pick just will not reach. The steel shank feels strong, and the overall construction is clearly higher quality than many of the cheaper options out there. You can tell Tekton actually thought about the geometry, size, and usability instead of just shrinking everything down. Tekton is known for quality, value, and innovation. Their mini pry bars have it all. The handles are super nice glass-impregnated nylon, so they withstand hard use and are resistant to solvents and oil. They are just the right size for a firm grip without being too big to fit in small spaces. The shafts are tough, tempered steel. They have practical shapes and angles that make them very helpful for removing electrical connectors in tight locations under the dash or in the engine bay of a plane, train, boat, or automobile. The flat surface at the fulcrum allows controlled prying. They are surprisingly stable. You can tell that a lot of thought went into making these prybars. I am glad I bought them. Best mini-prybars on the market at a very affordable price. The skip the Chinese junk ones and stay off the tool truck, these are the ones you want. They don't bend or break and the design allows you to smoothly pry things with stability. The hard handles are the best too.
