Description

The Tekton Mini Pry Bar Set (6-Piece) has two mini pry bars with 30-degree angled ends, two mini pry bars with 50-degree angled ends, and two straight mini pry bars. Three of the mini pry bars have a 5/32 inch shaft diameter, and three have a 1/4 inch shaft diameter. The 30-degree angled ends provide a range of motion for prying and lifting components within tight spaces. The 50-degree ends provide a greater range of motion for prying and lifting components than most other small pry bars. The classic square handles are long and slender with contoured sides for overall versatility and maneuverability. The handles are made from glass-reinforced nylon that's resistant to fuels, oils, and chemicals. All items in this set feature AISI 8650 steel shafts that are made from a strong Ni-Cr-Mo alloy that's hardened to 50–54 HRC. Our family of mini pry bar, pick, and hook products is made entirely in Michigan with only USA-sourced materials. Machining, bending, coining, handle molding, and press-fitting the handle and blade take place at our Grand Rapids, Michigan, manufacturing facility.

Tekton is known for quality, value, and innovation. Their mini pry bars have it all. The handles are super nice glass-impregnated nylon, so they withstand hard use and are resistant to solvents and oil. They are just the right size for a firm grip without being too big to fit in small spaces. The shafts are tough, tempered steel. They have practical shapes and angles that make them very helpful for removing electrical connectors in tight locations under the dash or in the engine bay of a plane, train, boat, or automobile. Having broke the tips of many screwdrivers its nice to have a pry bar made for the job. I find im using these all the time now. They are well made and feel great in the hand. The hard handles are easy to grip and have a slight texture so you do t slip when your hands a greasy. Tekton makes great quality products for a low price. ... show more

These are so handy and such a great value. The fit and finish is excellent, the handles have a lot of glass fill in the polymer so they are hard and durable. The blade geometry is perfect, too. Buy a set and keep them in your kitchen utility drawer, you will find a million uses for them.

Most of us keep a stubby mini flathead screwdriver in our pocket to pry on things, this was made for it.
