The quality of TEKTON sockets are just fine. However, instead of receiving a TEKTON 3/8 Inch Drive x 1/4 Inch Deep 6-Point Socket, I keep getting a 19mm socket instead. After the initial order, I made a return explaining this and still got a second 19mm socket sent back out. I noticed the 19mm socket was packaged/labeled wrong which is probably why this keeps happening. Now I am making a second return. I am only trying to draw attention to this. Got it to remove an oil filter cartridge (cover). I figured why spend the same amount on a filter socket that probably only has enough strength to remove the cover and probably would break on an actual bolt/nut. This would/should be strong enough to use on a bolt/nut, should I ever need it.

I just received my socket and have not used it yet. Truth be told, I only ordered it to fill an empty spot in my socket tray that I got tired of looking at. I have no clue when I will actually need it. That being said, the socket arrived on time. I am impressed with the heft and quality of the finish. Pinball games use a chrome post that needs this socket to remove and install. Regular deep well sockets will not go far enough over the post to reach the hex base and trying to use a wrench is a pain. This socket fits the bill exactly.

Needed this specific 21mm 3/8 for a crank pulley bolt with limited access (1/2 just won't fit) Socket seems well made and it does what a socket is suppose to do. May look into tekton open ended wrenches as well.
