Description

TEKTON 6-point sockets are ideal for working with hex-shaped fasteners. They're designed to grip the sides and not the corners of the fastener heads, which prevents round-off. Their extended length allows the deep socket to fit over long fasteners and reach into recessed areas. The large, die-stamped markings are permanently impressed into the material and optimized for readability.

This is my second set of these, somehow misplaced my first set, so these are a replacement set. As a former tech, I understand tolerance levels and fit; no, these do not match my SO or some other well known brands, however, among low priced items they are among the best. The fact that they are roll stamped is a huge plus, no worries that the Lazer engraved numbers will wear off (I have a couple of sockets where that has happened). No skipped sizes is a huge plus, the large range of sizes from 10 to 24mm is a great bonus. I like that the sockets in the smaller sizes have long stepped shoulders to aid in using in tight and narrow spots. An excellent choice, you won't be disappointed. ... show more

I like the holder that is 1/4 turn to remove or lock a socket back on the holder, easy to do with greasy hands. The sockets themselves are well made and the main reason I purchased this set is because it has the sizes normally skipped in sets, I needed a 23mm and most sets don't have that size included. These sockets are great. They seem well made. I have only used then a handful of times since I got them so I can't speak to the durability but I doubt there will be any issues. You will be hard pressed to find sockets of this quality for the price.

sockets are great. i have numerous tekton tools and they all are high quality, much better than stuff made in china. these are made in taiwan, which everyone except china knows is not china. the holder however is not so good. reason is that the sockets lock onto the posts by turning. they hold too well and are very difficult to rotate to remove with greasy fingers. finger grease + chrome = stuck socket. ... show more
