These look great on the table. They are not ceramic but look real at a glance. They make just about any food look great on the plate or bowl. They wash well and stand up to cutting food. Wish there were other designs to choose from like long seving dishes. Great value for the money!

Photos color is slightly different. One large plate came scratched, they also scratch easy from knifes and forks. THAT BEING SAID they are super durable the 3 year old was throwing them around the room when we first got the set. I love the function of these. Be careful in the microwave. Several things melted and it ruined plates. When you cut things on them, it shows and cuts deep in them.
