They're thick but lightweight! When I received them I decided to see for myself if the notices included in their online description were accurate or simply CYA from the manufacturer! Notice 1: Top dishwasher safe - I put them in the bottom rack of my dishwasher and ran them thru a 90 min wash/dry cycle....No Problems seen!!! Notice 2: Do not use in microwave: I put 1 cup of water in a bowl and put it in the microwave on HIGH for 3 minutes (the time it takes to microwave oatmeal in the morning! Again, NO PROBLEM!!! Looks like the manufacturer is doing some CYA!!! ... show more

I GAVE IT 4 STARS BECAUSE THE COLOR WAS NOT QUITE LIKE THE PICTURES SHOWN, ITS MORE OF A BURNT ORANGE NOT A BRIGHT ORANGE LIKE IT THOUGHT THEY WERE BUT STILL VERY BEAUTIFUL LOKKS LIKE REAL STONEWARE AND VERY THICK WHICH I DONT MIND.

Gorgeous turquoise color but strangely thin and too light weight. Don’t know how it will hold up over time durability and color wise. Smaller plates arrived dirty with damage to the back on some. Will request they be replaced. Factory in China may not be the best.
