I just used this kit to take off my gel nail polish. It had all the tools I needed besides acetone which I bought separately. All of the items it came with were reasonable quality for the price and everything except the cotton pads can be reused. I would’ve liked the nail files to be a bit better quality but again, can’t complain too much for the price. I was able to take off all of the gel polish in about 20 minutes. Great for people who want to save time going to the nail salon to get the polish removed and is simple to use (it was my first time doing this and I will be using this kit from now on)

These are your typical nail snaps that hold polish remover on the pads pressed to your nail. I have also realized I am incredibly impatient when it comes to removing gel polish, so I ended up forgoing these in favor of just peeling them off. But!!! These are great for stubborn polish that don't want to be peeled off. Really easy to use. Just pour polish remover on pad, wrap around nail, then clamp and wait! I also much prefer this way than the crinkle of aluminum. Love the pink!

The pads don’t soak up enough acetone to completely soak off a nail so you have to do probably 2 to 3 pads or re-acetone them. The clips to keep the pads on are also very thin and cheap feeling. I was worried if i opened the clip to hard it would break. They also didn’t stay closed very well. The only thing that was in here that i would give 5 stars to is the metal tool for scraping off left over gel. It is medal and very sturdy and works perfect. That is the only reason it’s a 3 star and not a 2.

Do not use the cotton it came with for removing polish. I recommend regular cotton balls. They held in place perfectly and saved time rather thank soaking in a bowl and cutting foil. Highly recommend. Scraping tool was awesome as well!

I avoided getting gel nails done on the past because I didn’t want to deal with taking it off myself. This kit makes it very easy and everything you need, except the remover, is included. The only negative is that the little sheets don’t seem to hold a lot of remover, but it could have been user error. I ended up using the thicker make up remover pads instead of what was provided.
