Description

Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael are back to battle bigger, badder villains, alongside April O'Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen "Sheamus" Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.CREDITS:Actors: Megan Fox, Will Arnett, Laura Linney, Stephen AmellDirectors: Dave GreeenFEATURES:Format: 4K, Color, WidescreenRegion: Region A/1 (Read more about DVD/Blu-ray formats.)Number of discs: 2Rated: PG-13 Parents Strongly CautionedStudio: ParamountDVD Release Date: September 20, 2016Run Time: 112 minutesTeenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows

A ninja turtles worth watching
I read the reviews and thought what the hell, it's a cartoon/reality animated movie called ninja turtles, so pretty much critics looking for a reality tv show should stick to big brother or dr phil......not to mention Megan fox has still got that appealing appearence that's almost breathtaking ...everyone did an amazing job with their scripts, you got ditzy/ Muscular/ computer tech/ laid back turtles...and two escape inmates turned into lab rats that are almost revolting (Their inmates "expected") .there's reviews here that stat " I grew up watching the ninja turtles so I expected something similar " - I say you have your turtles and evolution on the rise. We didn't have advanced technology in the 90s, we don't want the same old same old .... we want suspenseful action, drama, technologically advanced machines getting destroyed.......this sequel is what you would be getting, a garbage trash that shoots manholes out of its grill, sonic speed, and bionic arms like a transformer. Great movie.......there's a con in every movie though, I would say the turtles did fall a little short in fighting with their weapons, and the farting/burping inmates might of took it over the top with some people.....all in all they did a great job. ... show more

Don’t Care What Anyone Says Anymore
I enjoyed this movie. It’s a fun movie for the family (if they’re not too skeptical about new versions of the Ninja Turtles.) But anyways, the movie came on time and it was in perfect condition. Would recommend if someone were open and willing to a new version of these classic heroes, but I personally am tired of trying to defend these new Ninja Turtles movies. They are fun, enjoyable movies and I am free to like whatever movie I want no matter what anyone says. ... show more

3D fun
Just a lot of fun somehow comes off more believable than G.I. Joe or transformers or a lot of superhero movies because I don’t take it self super serious and it’s still more believable than Batman forever ha ha ha ha three day is awesome can’t imagine a lot of movies being great flat I wish 3-D would make a come back in America seems to be popular elsewhere 4K makes things look fake 3-D really helps CGI look like a realistic part of the scenery without it it looks like Roger rabbit ... show more

Worthy Successor
I found this an entertaining movie and a worthy successor to the first movie. The story line is OK and the special effects are great. I plan to add this one to my UHD Blu-ray collection. I use the following personal star-rating based on the following criteria: 1* - Not a favorite, a waste of film; 2* - It was entertaining, TV (Free) quality only; 3* - It was OK (good), low streaming/rental quality; 4* - I liked it, medium streaming recommendation, but I probably will not purchase it; 5* - I loved it and will probably purchase it in UHD Blu-ray. ... show more

Better Than the Previous Film
This movie contains some nice callbacks to the 1980s/1990s-era Ninja Turtles and the casting of Tyler Perry as Baxter Stockman and Stephen Amell as Casey Jones was fantastic! That said, the movie suffers from the same bloat that plagues many blockbusters today, wherein the filmmakers try to do too much and cannot spend enough time on everything. As goofy as the 1990s films were, they knew how to tell a well-structured story. Additionally, the film relies on a great deal of CGI rather than practical effects and there are several points where where it looks fake. Nickelodeon Films' involvement is unfortunate considering their current animated Ninja Turtles series, which is far and away better than what Michael Bay helped create here. Like the new television series, however, the Krang actually appear threatening instead of a joke. Two major improvements over the last film come in the form of costumes: the Turtles' gear/outfits look a lot better (and closer to the 1980s/1990s versions) in this film and Shredder's armor improves on the CGI-heavy monstrosity of the last film, with a sleek, black suit and helmet offering just enough menace without being over-the-top. This is a nice course-correction from the last film, but it falls short of what the franchise has to offer. ... show more
