The remote is complete garbage Did not use the suction cups for obvious reasons. I used brackets for a pro install . My first purchase, remote became intermittent, so I bought new batteries. did not help. Sooooo... I bought a new unit. THEN -all of a sudden my old remote now works! (for now). and the remote that came with the new unit worked 5 times..now nothing. Checked batteries, antenna, cables fuses, etc etc, nope. nothing. dead. ( I am an authorized repair center for a certain product, so I know a little about the topic) I also noticed many sellers of different light bars here on amazon are using the SAME REMOTE! Stay away from these remotes!., ( IF IT'S LIKE TT TEDDY'S REMOTE), they're poorly made in china trash! Go hardwired with another company. ... show more

Works great. Recieved the item quickly and within 2 days of placing the order. Unfortunately tho, only 4 stars instead of 5 because the light bar falls off the window alot. It has a powerful suction but fails to stay on the window.

Im a construction worker, bought these to use it during night work to enter traffic setups safely. Let other drivers know not to follow. I just tied them to a bar in the trunk inside my suv, no need for exterior installation in my case. Price i think is good for the quality and functionality of the product. Having a remote is really convenient for controlling the light while driving without having to stop and unplug it. Recommended! ... show more

    • Suction cups don’t hold bar very long. It falls off window.

All around great product. Although suction cups don’t hold on for very long. I had to remove rear window header panel and drill holes into the panel to attach holding brackets to. Much better sleeker discrete look and tucked up higher. From the drivers seat it’s a bit difficult getting the remote to work on the first try. I extended the small remote antenna aimed closer towards drivers seat. This helps a bit more. I’m pleased with it although the lights could have been a bit brighter. ... show more

I purchased this back in July 2024. I don't use it that often as it's used mostly at events. It has worked great till now. All of a sudden the remote wouldn't turn it on and the other day it just came on by itself. I replaced the batteries in the remote, still nothing. I have unplugged the 12v plug and when I plug it back in, sometimes it comes on and won't shut off without unplugging and other tries , it won't come on at all. Very disappointing since this is just a simple plug and play. Will find a different brand and try that.. ... show more
