I ordered this for my son , and when we received it the gesture sensing watch didn’t work. We were going to send it back , but my son was okay with using the other remote control it comes with and didn’t want to wait for a new machine. Unfortunately The only options I was given was to return or a refund of my money instead of just sending a new sensing watch. Overall the battery life and durability seem to be good. Bought as a gift for grandchild. It was a little annoying to have to use a combination of AA, AAA, and rechargeable battery for the car and accessories. Instructions are useless. Upon getting batteries installed was unable to initialize and use gesture controller. I was at the point of returning the car, when I decided to try a little experiment. I removed the batteries from the hand controller and retried the gesture controller. It now worked. For those of you who said the gesture controller didn't work you might try this workaround.
