Got this on sale, and it is a lifesaver I think. If you can't fit or afford a full sit stand desk, this unit has been going up and down a few times a day for 6 months strong. Also if you think you will be standing for more than a couple of hours a day, I assure you no. Thats why the manual system is great whenever you are tired just grab the handle and place it down quick, it doesn't require thinking or waiting.

Adjustable height allows me to stand at times instead of sitting all day at my desk. Easy to assemble and easy to use. I wish that the keyboard tray was adjustable but all in all, it was worth the money.

It seems that the desk has a narrow profile at first, but when elevated the keyboard takes up a lot more room. It pushes forward and changes the way you reach the desk. Easily moves up and down, and is quite sturdy and stable.

This is a great adapter for most normal sized desks, and it supports up to 33lbs of weight. I have an LG 27" 4k monitor, and a MacBook Pro caddy on it and still have some room for papers, maybe an iPad, etc. The build quality is acceptable; it's not *excellent*, but at this price point, it does the job. The lift goes up and down smoothly and with relative ease due to the nice gas lift that is included. Because it's an X style lift, it's sturdy and doesn't rock hardly at all in use. The keyboard tray is fairly thin though, so you should *not* put a lot of weight on it. It's meant for gently resting your wrists and typing, but not for leaning against. If you want to lean against a desk while standing, get a real standing desk. The keyboard tray also has 3 soft foam pads under it to stabilize it on the desk surface when in the lowered position. Overall, I give this 4/5 stars because it could be slightly more sturdy/solid, but again, for the price, it's great, and I would definitely recommend it.

I have worked in places that use these standing desks and wanted one at home. The ones at work were over $400. I went with a less expensive version and overall happy with the purchase. If I had to do it over again I probably would look for one with lift assist as lifting the desk can be difficult due to the weight.
