Honestly, I didn't have high expectations when I placed my order. The reviews weren't great and the pictures didn't paint a mental image in my head.... but for a little over $4, I ordered it! I said "Oh WoW!" when I opened my package and pulled it out! The EVO WALLET box is like what the $150 cases would be packaged in! The box was way more informative than the item description! I've been using wallet cases for my Samsung Note 8 for years, yet this is the first of its kind for me! With my phone in the Evo Wallet, it's nearly half as thick as my previous wallets, so I'm HAPPY!! No more dilemma to either cram mine in my little cross-body purse or just take it out of the case and put in purse (leaving it unprotected)! I now have a perfect fit! All of my other cases have had a magnetic field by the closure. This Evo doesn't. It has a secure clip to push in, which is beneficial because it actually leaves no part of my phone exposed! My phone fits amazingly snug in the case and all of the access holes, etc. are placed perfectly where they belong. I like the translucent smoke colored back because for the first time in years, I can see the back of my phone again (through the smoke)! It's definitely durable, using a patented "Flex Shock" 3-layer drop impact protection! It's lightweight compared to all of my other wallet cases. Another plus in comparison to other cases is the "Concealed card storage," which is awesome! My first wish would be for 2 or 3 more card slots, instead of 2 (1 behind front cover and 1 sideway slot on inside of concealment flap). My 2nd wish would be to have more colors!! However, I'm 100% fully satisfied with this case! A phenomenal deal at $4.50 (with tax). I hope my pictures and review will help take the guesswork out for others who are considering buying this case or. I know when I order off-brand or no name cases on Amazon, I worry about the quality to protect my $1300 investment! Unfortunately, not all reviews are trustworthy. For the price it's a real good case I dont no why there was bad ratings on it but that's them. I will say it might not last half a year I'm not shore but I will be buying a extra one just on case. I might even get my mom and sister one for christmas or someone else I no. I just really love the case. But i do with they had it in pink and blue lol. That would be so cute. It also fits better then the evo check case. The clear case is still the best but this wone is better for screen protection. If u dont mind buying 2 to 4 a year depending on your use then u wont need a screen protecter. It's better then buying case after case. $8 to $9 a year for 2 is good. I loved this case on my note 8. I felt as though my device was truly safe from most things in this case. Like the 2 card storage & extra flap in between screen & cards. The cover feels sturdy & almost like it is remotely cushioned in a pleasant way... like it could take a drop while covering your screen & absorb all the impact with no harm to screen. Tbh i didnt think id like this case as much as i do. Its quite durable and can comfortably store about 4 cards. I never carry a wallet anymore. The clasp broke right at about 6 months of use. I didnt expect much for the price and for the clasp to last 6 months after 50+ uses a day for 5 bucks. Id say its pretty damn reliable.
