    • My old laptop is now running Win 11 Pro.
Make certain if upgrading to WIN 11 Pro, you get a Product Key. Microsoft indicated that my 8 yo laptop was not compatible for Win 11 update. I updated the HDD to 512 GB SSD. My laptop meet all but one criteria. The problem was the intel i7-6500U was not compatible with 11. Yet when reading the processor requirements the i7-6500U met or exceeded all the requirements. I could not use the Windows 11 Installation Assistant due to my processor. It refuse to continue. My laptop is 8 yo. It did not come with Win 10. I think it was XP. I upgraded to Win 10 home. I knew I wanted Win 11 Pro, so I updated my Win 10 home to Win 10 Pro. Updating to Win 10 Pro was relatively easy. If you want Win 11 Pro, you need to update Win 10 to Pro. When I tried to use the included USB, it warned that it would install WIN 11 but would delete all files. I made a backup of the C: Drive to the cloud and also to an External Drive. I hoped it would not delete everything but I accepted it might be the only way to get Win 11 Pro updated. I also cloned my C: drive just in case the install messed up my C: drive. I needed and had lots help from the Tech Rep. They responded within 2 to 4 hours. It took their help, YouTube, and Google and presistence. My laptop is Win 11 Pro.     • Update: Computer Data Completely Gone! Did Not Work! Horrible Seller With Atittude 🤨
Update: after failure to work on computer I was feeling defeated and didn't mess with it until today, to my dismay, the information, photos, and videos (some of my father that passed away 3 years ago) are all gone, this USB complete factory reset my pc without any warning, contacted Amazon, said they couldn't do anything but contact the seller, reluctantly I did, the wrote back, "Refunded your money, what else could you want?", well fact that they erased 10 plus years of photos, videos and information.....wonder 🤔 Wrote seller, told them that it said "doesn't support my pc!", then seller wrote me back with a attitude and said "I should learn to read", trust me, I read and re-read the whole ad, no where did it say won't work with this or that pc!!! ... show more

As long as you follow the directions, make sure you follow the proper directions in your bios and everything falls right in place I ordered the Windows 11 Pro had no problem with the key activated no issues

Does NOT come with key for installing Windows 11 (any version) and Tech Support got rather testy about providing needed key. Otherwise works as advertised. Fast and easy.

Worked just fine if you know how to change the version from home to pro if you have a pro code without having to call support. It came with home as the default install even though I paid for pro. Since I work in IT I knew how to take care of it. Plenty of instructions online how to do it too if you are not sure. ... show more

The USB stick itself doesn't even install windows properly. Terrible support. The seller claims that refunds are provided, but I was charged a "re-stocking" fee when attempting to return the product. Could not even attempt to use the "product key". DO NOT BUY.
