I hade to smoke 4 briskets for an about 150 people and turning them was a breeze with these gloves on. To clean, I just washed my hands in the sink with the gloves on as you would normally wash your hands and they were good as new. I'm just using these to grab and flip meat. If you need more agile fingers for something, you might want to look for a fiber based glove. I like the easy cleanup of these ones over the fiber based.

The cheesy gloves they sell for sublimating were horrible with the heat dots melting and marring my pieces. I tried these since there was nothing to melt but was concerned the fingers wouldn't give adequate dexterity/movement. I had feared they would feel more constricting akin to an oven mitt. My worries were a waste! These are great! Not only do they give AWESOME protection to holding metal and glass heated to 450, they protect your forearms and give me full hand flexibility just like a "normal" glove. These are ideal!

These things work great when working with hot stuff ,corn on the cob, smoker,hot grease. The only reason why they got a 4 star is the fingers are a little stiff which makes it somewhat difficult to handle some items, and I have big hands. I've also purchased 3 more pairs for my sons to use.
