I am able to handle table top firepits and wood burning grills with these gloves on. I can move burning logs around in campfires and park grills. I don't use charcoal, but I am sure these gloves are flexible enough to rearrange charcoal as well. Like everyone else, I plan my fires for the task at hand and I always put a fireproof mat down first. I live in an area with high sustained, gusty winds, which causes some adjustments to cook right, conserve fuel, and most important, to keep safe. These gloves are handier and I have better control than with tongs, mitts, and pokers when the wind comes up. These gloves are beyond compare at any price.

These things are no joke. Very stiff, they come exactly like they look in the picture, the glove doesn't fold in on it's own weight. I used these first when I was baking bread which is the hottest temp i use my oven at, these did beautifully. I like that your hand is not in a mitten like glove, so much better than just using a towel or square pot holders, you have more control with all your fingers. I also like that these are very long and would be great for people who accidentally burn themselves a lot (me). Of course, these are a perfect gift for a barbecue or hot stone spa connoisseur as well!

These gloves work great for moving larger pieces of meat on or off the grill or smoker. I could not feel heat at all while moving meat around on the smoker. The texturing that makes the gloves nonslip when handling briskets and pork butts. The only issue I have with these gloves is the fingers are a little thick restricting movement and finer motor skills. An example of this would be after I pulled everything off the smoker I tried to open the door to go in my house and found it to be a bit tough to do. These gloves may work better as they break in more. I have only used these five times so far. They still look like new after washing them in hot soapy water after cooking. Overall they are good value and I would recommend them. The limited dexterity is the only reason I did not give them five stars.

I got these to tend to a fireplace. To that end, they're phenomenal. The insulation is good enough that I can reach in and casually grab an actively burning log. I really can't give any higher praise - they're close to welding gloves. There is a bit of a stink for a couple days - just a generic tire/rubber smell, but that dissipates during use. Dexterity isn't the best, but it's on par with other insulated gloves, and MUCH better than with oven mitts. The non-slip coating works well with lightly oily things too, so it's great for grabbing hot pizza steels. Super happy with these!

I use these quite a bit. They protect you from heat and make grabbing things off the grill easy. Sometimes I need to reposition something, remove a hot grate, or turn my veggie grilling cages. Should have got some sooner.

These grill gloves are easy to put on and allow for pretty good movement while still providing a great level of heat protection. They have held up really well to use for pulling meat from the smoker as well as pulling pans from the oven. They work great and are a great addition to my backyard grilling tools.

If you have a smoker, these are perfect. I finally got a pair of these after plenty of times trying to get my BBQ off the grill without burning myself too much. Years back when I worked culinary, we used this style of gloves when removing spits of rotisserie chickens because they block the heat so well. These block the heat and are easy to clean. Just keep them on and wash your hands.

These neoprene lined insulated gloves are a must have for serious BBQ. You can grab slabs of ribs on and off the grill without slipping due to the texture on these gloves. These are the best rubber BBQ work gloves I have tried. Most are slippery and can't grip on a slab of sauced ribs, these do with ease. These fit my hands well and the cotton lining is very comfortable.
