Our small kitchen has limited counter space, so this rack has been helpful to give us a bit more counter space and a few more valuable ways. We have placed this over half of our kitchen sink. Our sink is a side-by-side configuration. One side with the garbage disposal and where we wash dishes. The other side is where we rinse the cleaned dishes. We place this rack over one side of our sink. It fits great and is sturdy. *We have air-dried our clean dishes on the rack. *We have thawed foods on this rack. Any liquid from the frozen foods drips into the sink. *We have rinsed poultry, placed it on the rack, and dabbed it with a paper towel to finish wicking off the remaining moisture. *We have placed our washed and prepared produce on this rack. *When not using it as a place to drain water, we have placed our dishes planned for our meals. I was looking for a sink rack to mainly use my cutting board. But I was able to use this rack as a drain rack, cutting board support rack, cooling rack for my bake goods, and can use it for filling up a large pot of water for my pasta. Firstly before ordering make sure you have the correct dimensions for your sink. I have been caught like this before. Unroll the rack on an empty sink and put your wet dishes/pans on it and they will drip dry into the sink, once they are fully dry you can put them away.
