I was dreading building this at first since it comes in so many pieces. The instructions are very easy to follow. It only took me about an hour and a half to build. Nothing was missing or broken. There's paint scuffed off on a few pieces but overall it's sturdy and the perfect size for my son (who's almost 2). He started playing with it as soon as he saw it.

Very happy with this kitchen. whe have had it for 4 months now, it was a first birthday gift for our child. He loves to play in it, he loves to open and close the doors and move things around and reach high and low. As he ages, he is doing more pretend cooking. We live in a small home and I was really hoping for a play kitchen that was compact but engaging and this fit the bill. It has enough storage for play dishes that we have. We do not have much food yet, it might get cramped in there once a bunch of food is introduced, but we will make it work. It took a while to assemble, but I thought the directions were helpful and clear. There was a screw missing from my set and I was able to replace it with something from my tool box. Having two people to assemble it would help move things along, but I did fine with just one person. I think the one part where I wish I had more instructions was installing the stove knobs. I think I broke one by turning it too hard, because it does not really click like the other two. Just use caution when you get to that part and do not force it. The 3 spice cylinders that came with the kitchen are an ok add, but they had been relabeled and the labels were peeling off. I set them aside for some day in the future when my child is done putting things in his mouth and wrecking the labels.

My husband thought I was nuts buying a wooden kitchen set over a plastic one but I'm really glad I didn't listen because this set is adorable and way nicer to look at than those bulky plastic ones. He did nicely put it together for me and said it took about a hour but had no issues (there are a lot of pieces). It is very sturdy and has kept my 3 year old entertained pretty much daily for the past month. It's the perfect size for her and the perfect size for her play area since we already have a little play fridge and other kitchen stuff. Would definitely buy again.

Overall, I'm super satisfied with this product. Body is made of wood so very sturdy. The only thing that is actually pretty damn dangerous is the metal piece they give you to hook up the phone. This piece could EASILY injury a child and probably horrifically. I put it on than decided to take off. I'm a little disappointed that it came damaged but it wasn't enough for me to want to send back. I was still able to put together. Also, the description says it comes with a pot, a pan, and a spatula. Unfortunately we are missing the pot and the pan so my husband bought a "cookware" set. The pamphlet doesn't even show that it comes with a pot and pan so I'm confused. Doesn't come with food, which we knew and was fine with, so again, my husband bought stuff separately. It is very tedious to assemble with small hardware. I put it together myself while my toddler was taking a nap. Took about 2.5-3 hours total but I also took breaks because of my carpal tunnel. My son loves it. We got this for him for his 2nd birthday. I added a picture with him for size reference. He's a little on the shorter side, 33.3in tall. This kitchen is perfect for his size and will probably have for a few years. If my toddler were to rate it, he'd probably give 5 stars.

This kitchen set exceeded my expectations. The quality of the materials it is made of rivals my own kitchen cabinets! Everything is solid wood and, though time consuming, it was pretty easy to follow the directions to build it. The only tool you need is a screwdriver (or drill if you want it to go faster!). My only complaint is that we were missing a pretty significant piece and I had to go on the Teamson Kids website and order it. I would highly recommend laying out all the materials and counting all your hardware before you begin building it. If I had been in the middle of building it and then realized that the piece was missing, I probably would have been pretty frustrated because it is time consuming to build. I laid out all my pieces ahead of time and noticed that we were missing the piece before we built, so I was able to fix the problem before it was actually a problem. Even though we were missing a piece, I'm still giving it 5 stars because the quality of it is just awesome. I'd choose this over a plastic one any day! This kitchen is sure to last through many kids!
