Bought this helmet to mount some night vision goggles on. It is a very high quality helmet and although it seems expensive, it will probably be the last one I ever buy, so I went with the best. I don't have anything to compare it to, but this one seems very nice and comfortable. I can't find anything I don't like about it. I don't plan on mounting a lot of extra stuff on it, so I probably won't even use the side rails. But they look good and seem of high quality. Team Wendy is known to be one of the best. I bought this as a crash helmet for my ebike. It may be a plastic bump helmet but all the attachements are a bonus and the money is in the padding. This sits rock solid on your head and allows for mounting lights, night vision, etc. If you are just looking for a bump/saftety hard hat but need to add devices to it, cave exploreing, kayaking, biking etc this is perfect.
