Giant aggressive monster truck tires provide maximum traction, letting the RIVAL MT8 claw through the toughest terrain with ease. I’ll start by saying that I absolutely love this truck, I’ll continue by saying I also despise it. I’ve owned it for about 6 months now and am just now able to get through a full battery without it breaking. Here’s a list of what has broken so far 1. Lower control arm broke on 1st run 2. All 4 upper control links have broken at least twice each 3. Rear wheel hub broke on a rollover(replaced with aluminum and seems much stronger now. 4. Steering linkage broke on another rollover. (Aluminum upgrade is solid now) 5. Wheel broke on small jump landing. 6. Front and rear diff cups wore out fast 7. Front left driveshaft threw its pin (expensive fix) 8. Center driveshaft threw its pin as well and destroyed center diff housing. If you’re not wanting to give this thing some serious love keep shopping. ... show more

Amazing rc. Got bad youtube reviews which killed sales, benefits us now. Early problems addressed and this Is an awesome rc especially for the money. I have all thr 3s,4s and 6s basher available and this one Is near the top of the list of my favorites

📸 for now and review after few battery uses.. looks good so far, diffs have oil (Haven't opened yet) and suspension feels excellent out of box 13 lbs with battery

No idea where there was a single 1-star rating for this product (and at that, no comments to say "why"). I've owned the MT8 for about six weeks now and it's definitely fun, fun, fun. I have 45 RC cars in all different scales and prices, so I actually have other RCs to compare the MT8 to. That being said, the MT8 is definitely a blast to drive and it shares a lot of parts with the Redcat KAIJU. If you want aluminum upgrades for the knuckles and arms, the Redcat KAIJU upgrade parts fit the MT8. ... show more
