Love these! Great quality and durability. Took a bit to assemble and the drumsticks did not survive the hands of a newbie for very long - but love the guides and the ability to play amplified or with headphones so that sound is controlled.

After researching more affordable e-kits I decided to purchase the Aroma TDX-18. Everything came packed well. Here are the pros and cons I have found so far Pros: Assembly is pretty easy. The drum rack is sturdy and space saving. Overall sound of the kit is good. Pads, cymbals and pedals are durable. The module is easy to use. Comes with Velcro fasteners to organize wires. Stick holder. Cons: The hi-hat seems to be a little glitchy when closed, hopefully figure out why it does it. When playing the ride and you hit the crash it doesn’t seem to resonate loud like you think it would but it’s still noticeable. The module only comes with 16 preset kits, which really isn’t a con I suppose. I’d say the pros out weigh the cons. I did a test recording via usb cable on audacity to see how the drums would sound and they sound great. Don’t expect high end quality out of these but for the price I’d say they are worth it. So far I’m pleased with them! ... show more

This electronic drum kit is the best bang for the buck I have bought from Amazon- EVER! The construction and durability is great, the drums sounds are great, and yes- you can plug your phone into it and play along with your favorite tunes. Was worth the money on day one.

    • Don’t buy it.
Horrible!! By the end of 3 weeks only one worked. My son was afraid to tell me because he thought he’d be in trouble. The refund time by the manufacturer is 30 days which I wasn’t aware of, so when I realized it was broken the time had passed and I had to fight to get my money back.
