I like the stone ground texture since it adds a bit of grit. The chocolate seems to be of high quality with very few ingredients. For some reason, the cocoa instructions are buried on the inside of the packaging and you will not see them unless you are explicitly looking for them. It's not smooth chocolate like a Dove or Lindt bar. It's gritty. The sugar is not dissolved and the chocolate nibs are still in there too. Flavor is good though I don't pick up some of the flavors like vanilla. Couldn't taste it. Just tasted like chocolate. Best way to describe the texture...you know how when you get teeth cleaning at dentist and they put that gritty paste in your mouth? That. So why did I give it a 4? Cause that's the way this is supposed to be. If you want a smooth chocolate bar, don't get this. If you want a gritty, stone ground chocolate then this is for you. ... show more

I love them because they taste like freshly ground, pure chocolate. Like chocolate you made yourself. Grainy texture. Which is why some may not love it so much.
