TaylorMade Golf Spider ZT Putter

Features

• SPIDER STABILITY To maximize MOI, four heavy steel and tungsten corner weights frame a low-density, aerospace-grade aluminum body.
• LOW TORQUE DESIGN The KBS putter shaft is bored directly toe-ward near the CG with a 2 shaft lean and 34 mm of onset behind the face, enabling a stable, toe-up design.
• PURE ROLL INSERT Made from a combination of Surlyn and aluminum, the black Pure Roll insert creates a softer feel. Grooves are angled at 45 to encourage optimal forward roll as well as better sound, feel and overall roll characteristics.
• UNIQUE SOLE SHAPING New and improved sole shaping to work specifically with this unique hosel configuration, engineers worked tirelessly to find new ways to improve accuracy from the moment the putter is placed behind the ball. The new sole curvature accommodates different player types and ball positions, giving golfers the ability to find a consistent and repeatable stroke.
• MILLED TRUE PATH ALIGNMENT Based on Tour player feedback, we were tasked to find a new premium alignment system. Building on the classic TaylorMade True Path technology, milled lines the width of the golf ball were added helping golfers properly index to center face.

Description

The elongated SuperStroke grip and increased overall length move weight up into the grip end of the club. The heavier head and KBS Custom Graphite shaft optimize swingweight. The end result is a putter with ultrahigh MOI. The KBS Custom Graphite Black PVD shaft bores directly toe-ward near the center of gravity, with a 2° shaft lean and 34mm of onset behind the face. This heavier setup produces an ultrastable, toe-up orientation that allows you to make a repeatable stroke. Subtle camber on the forged aluminum sole plate behind the CG allows the putter to sit flush against the ground. The three TSS weights are the final piece in optimizing the swingweight and toe-up orientation. At impact, the black Pure Roll insert — built from a combination of Surlyn and aluminum — creates a softer feel and more controlled sound. Grooves angled at 45° promote optimal forward roll from the first contact point. On the top line, Milled True Path alignment takes the classic TaylorMade system further: lines milled to exactly the width of a golf ball so you can index to center face with precision, every time.
