Excellent fenders with 8" diameter.

These are heavy duty vinyl fenders with 8" of standoff diameter (vs. the more typical 6-6.5" size) to protect your hull. I use these on my self-built 27.5' houseboat and they work great. Run a rope through the center hole, tie a stopper knot, and tie off the other end to a cleat at the desired hang height. The 20" length gives a lot of vertical coverage for different height docks, so I don't find that I need to adjust the height from place to place. You can adjust the air pressure if you want to make them softer or firmer. All three of mine came perfectly inflated with a little "give" but plenty of springy rebound to fend off a dock in choppy water. Simple and effective. They do give off a noticeable vinyl odor so if you keep these stowed in a hot enclosed space, you will smell the vinyl. ... show more

Beautiful and Useful Boat Fenders

We decided to update our boat and our old dingy white fenders had to go. We picked these. They come in different sizes and Taylor Made items have always been great. Boaters swear by their products. We chose the black color and were not disappointed. They are shiny and black and do not show scuff marks. You do not need to use covers because they look great with nothing. Look nice, Sturdy, Lifetime Warranty
Great Fenders. Nice size for our offshore boat. We bought the red ones. They look really good with the white boat and blue canvas work.......patriotic! They are made well. Cheaper than what we could find at the local marine stores. With Amazon Prime the shipping was free. They arrived in two different Amazon shipments a day apart, but that was okay. With the lifetime warranty, I think we will be happy with this product long term. Did I mention how great they look on our boat at the dock? ... show more

The Taylor made fenders that we purchased have served us well. We did have an issue with one not holding air when it arrived, but they sent a replacement out immediately. We are very happy with these fenders

Very nice

These work really well - I tried another brand, but replaced them with these. These are much better all around, quality, looks, and durability.

Do not buy this product

This product is absolute junk. They will not stay inflated for even a few hours. I inflated these one time and they deflated causing over $1200 in damage to my boat.

I have to go with Taylor-made fenders.

We bought two of these at a really resonable price (versus west marine / boaters world prices). And Amazon Prime free delivery made it even a better purchase for these big, bulky fenders. This was to replace a similar Taylor-made fender that had been ruined by a spring-line that had rubbed a hole in it while rafted up with another boat on a gusty night at anchor. That type of damage is not covered by Taylor-made's warranty. But these fenders are tough and worth the price, imo. These Big B fenders have an open cylindrical channel that goes through the entire length of the fender, so it requires a stop knot on the bottom. ... show more
