Easy installation, excellent case fit on Pixel 8, great value IMO. But I have to take off a star because the included screen protector doesn't quite cover the entire screen - there's a gap between the screen protector and the case, which my finger keeps catching on when I try to do the "up from bottom" swipe gesture (there's gaps at left, right, and top also, but they don't bother me). I can't just reposition the screen protector downwards because then the camera cutout would put an edge across the front camera lens. EDIT: the camera protector bit, on the back of the phone, cracked (doing what it was supposed to, protecting the lens/glass). The kit comes with two of that piece, but I had lost one, so now I was without that protection. I asked Tauri how to buy just that piece, and they sent me an entire new kit ... so, I'm using that excellent customer service to justify raising my rating from 4 stars to 5. I've had this case and lens protector on the phone for 5 months. So far, no issues at all with the case - even after dropping the phone a few times. However, the lens protector has allowed dust to get in through the thermometer opening, and the dust began to block the camera lens, so I removed the lens protector. I had to break the lens protector (it's glass) while removing it. I was on vacation (without tools) so the job was messy. ... show more

I took a chance on this case over Spigen or Humixx because it looked similar and came with 2 camera covers and 2 front covers. What really sold me was the video on the Amazon listing showing how easy it was to install the front protector, which looked to be the flexible/plastic instead of glass...which is what I wanted. The video showed Tauri's easy to apply multi unfold process which I liked as it looked pretty fool proof. Unfortunately, the case I received came with a glass cover and nothing but stickers to help align it before applying. I would have appreciated a link to a YouTube video or printed instructions on how to freehand install the glass protector without a plastic guide that either plugs into your USB port or fits around the phone making alignment a little easier. I was able to line up the glass after a few of tries and a few profane outbursts. At least the glass is allowing my fingerprint to scan and registers accurate screen clicks on the onscreen keyboard. Unfortunately, the glass protector for the camera is very brittle. Again, without any printed documentation or YouTube link, I had to "wing it" installing the camera cover. I was more concerned at first lining up the small pinhole microphone hole and not the larger flashlight holes. It didn't line up at first and as I tried to lift the cover to reposition, the glass snapped at the corner with very little pressure. I am very concerned that this glass cover will survive even the smallest of drops or lightest of hits. I had to drop a star due to this. ProTip, when installing the camera cover, align the flashlight holes first and be careful not to apply too much pressure as you drop the cover down towards the other end so as to not cause a crack on the very thin corners around the flashlight cutouts. Overall I am somewhat satisfied with the case. Seems like it will provide decent protection in the event of a drop or collision. The case doesn't add too much weight to the phone and is very slim, which is what I wanted. I don't know why some people pay $1000 for a phone and then surround it with a case so thick, it looks like they are carrying around a brick. If Tauri would be open to sending me a replacement camera cover, I would consider giving this 4 stars. I have a feeling I will need to replace the camera cover after the first drop or direct hit it endures. Maybe send me a couple more, please. ... show more
