Bought this during a Prime Day sale - I usually order from Tatcha directly but I could not resist the price. I love everything by Tatcha and this did not disappoint. It does prepare my face well for makeup but is not at all greasy or heavy. As the name says, it's silky. Tatcha is the best!

This is one of the best primers I’ve used. It feels like silk when you put it one and a lot goes along way! It’s not heavy feeling at all. It also keeps my face bright and my make up in place. You can go makeup-less as well and skin looks fresh and clean. Love it!!

While the Tatcha Silk Canvas is great for oil control and blurring pores, it didn’t work well on my skin overall because it’s too drying. If I apply it all over, my makeup doesn’t look good and can grip unevenly. I’ve found I can only use it minimally in certain areas—like my forehead, around my nose, and on my chin—where I need extra oil control. I’ve been loving how smooth and soft this makes my skin look. As my skin has matured, makeup tends to settle into fine lines, but this gives such a silky finish and helps everything apply more evenly.
