Description

Modern science proves that your dog shares the DNA of the wolf. Years of domestication and excellent care have turned your dog from a short-lived potential foe to a long-lived best friend. Although their DNA remains the same and their tastes demand something of the wild, their diet should provide them with all the proper ingredients and nutrition they need to thrive. This unique recipe contains a blend of animal protein sources, including wild boar, for a taste sensation that your pet will love. In addition, nutrient-rich legumes and fruits like peas, garbanzo beans, blueberries and raspberries provide antioxidants for your pet’s healthy lifestyle. Your dog craves tastes from their wild past. Go ahead and give them one.

  • Happy, healthy dogs
Flavor Name: Roasted duck Size: 28 Pound (Pack of 1)
I have a pack of six, including two terrier mixes, a beagle, and two herding mixes. They're anywhere from 1 year to 9 years old, and all happily eat this food. Previously I'd tried a variety of standard and grain free foods, but I could never get all six to agree on a food and I didn't notice any significant changes in health with any particular brand. The Taste of the Wild Wetlands formula food seems a step above. Their bowel movements are regular and healthy looking, stomach upset is very uncommon now, and their coats appear healthier. My nine year old beagle and eight year old Aussie shepherd/ACD mix have noticeably better energy levels as well, and the patch of dry flaky skin on my beagle's back has cleared up. I'm now doing a mixed diet with dry only in the mornings, and half dry mixed with a quality chicken or fish based canned in the later afternoon, supplemented with cooked vegetables occasionally. It's expensive compared to the cheaper food brands, but I've never seen my dogs healthier or happier. ... show more

  • 13yr old Spitz recommended.
Flavor Name: Grain Free Adult Size: 5 Pound (Pack of 1)
I have a 13-year-old German Spitz or as some call them an American Eskimo. All his life he has had gut problems and I suspect he has lupus as I have read the breed is very susceptible to the disease. My aunt actually has lupus so I am very well aware of the special diet someone with lupus has to follow. This probiotic salmon food is the only food in his 13 years that he has been alive that has not given him constipation or diarrhea, he has not had a single gut problem for the two years I have been giving him this food. I had to clean his rear end from having constipation or diarrhea at least once a month for 10 years. I really wish I would have known about this food a decade ago he would have been having a much better and comfortable life. He absolutely loves the stinky fish, the stinkier the better lol, and the food texture is not too big or toohard for his 13-year-old teeth to crunch. I mixed in a few little stalks of broccoli chopped up finely and sometimes I put a little bit of steak chopped up with it as well. I am so glad that my vet recommended this food for Nanook. ... show more

  • Our New Dog Food, My Dogs LOVE This Stuff!
Flavor Name: Grain Free Adult Size: 5 Pound (Pack of 1)
I fed my dogs the cheaper dog food for years. I had no idea that the food I was feeding them was substandard at best. I feel fortunate that neither dog has been sick with anything connected to their diet because I do know that some people aren't so lucky. Searching online for information about dog food that is a better quality, I started to hear things about Taste of the Wild so I decided to check the company and their product out. I didn't have to go very far past the ingredient label to know that this is the food that I should try first. Now, I have a 13 year old Siberian Husky that is one of the pickiest eating dogs on the planet. She will even turn her nose up at potato chips when they are occasionally offered to her. She picks the meaty looking chunks out of the dog food that they used to eat and eats those first. I had to start buying smaller bags of dog food because if the bag had been opened for a while, she would refuse to eat it. I always jokingly say she likes her dogfood like a lot of people like their seafood, as fresh as they can get it. My other dog is a simple idiot. He eats chicken poop and just about anything else that he can fit into his mouth including wood, her fur when she sheds and my flowers out front. Needless to say he is not a picky eater. I wasn't concerned with him not liking it but I was a bit worried what she would think. We went ahead and ordered our first bag of this dogfood. It was delivered on time just like Amazon always does and so we started the transistion from the old to the new by subtracting a bit more of the old with the new every day until they were finally completely switched over. They LOVE this food. Both of them. Even little Miss Picky. It got to the point where they were both actually eating AROUND the old food and leaving it in the bowl. This made me extremely happy because I know that the Taste of the Wild food is MUCH better for them. There is no grain in this food. The ingredients are simple and everyone should be familiar with them. It actually smells good and doesn't have that mealy look to it like the cheaper brands that are full of corn and soy. Neither dog has had any bathroom issues which I know is a concern for some people that are worried that there isn't any fiber in the food because it doesn't contain grain. That's what the veggie material is for. Veggies have fiber. I promise! You dog will have no problems pooping while eating this food because of lack of fiber. This is our new dog food for our two monsters. They are both healthy, happy and both seem to have a bit more energy. Their coats look good and I'm happy with the results. ... show more

  • My husky loves it
Flavor Name: Roasted duck Size: 28 Pound (Pack of 1)
I switched up from salmon protein (I switch proteins every couple of months or so). Definitely has a more gamey smell then the usual classic animal meal smell. My dog loves it, she immediately started chowing down.

  • dog loves it
Flavor Name: Beef Size: 28 Pound (Pack of 1)
My 2 yr old shepherd/lab mix has EPI so finding a dogfood that she likes and I can afford is everything to me! The grain free is just what the doctor ordered. Literally. The stuff he wrote a prescription for was $150!!!! Ummm....he has lost his mind for sure. The enzymes I have to put on top of her food 20 minutes before she eats it is $158 a month. Could you imagine that?!! The forums online talked about this brand of dogfood almost everywhere I searched. I decided to give it a try. I am ecstatic my girl loves it. I mix a bit of cooked burger, a little rice, and zucchini and carrots and my girl gobbles it up! She will eat it plain but this is more what her system needs now that we've gotten her condition under control a year after diagnosis. It's just a superior product compared to others on the market. I've tried them all. Recommend ... show more
