The file set is well-made and the handles feel comfortable during use. One of the smaller files arrived slightly bent, but overall the quality is solid. The included case is sturdy and looks nice, though it does make it harder to quickly identify the smaller files since the tips are hidden. Despite that, this set offers good value and works well for general projects.

These files came packed in a protective container and each file was completely intact without any damage to any of the files. Even the smallest files were in good shape to be used as needed. This set was purchased due to me not having the smaller sizes and to complete my original big set. This kit allowed me to smooth and contour the small intricate designs of the jewelry boxes I am making for my daughters. They come in a sheath that keeps all of them together and is easy to place and find in your woodshed when needed. No more looking everywhere to find a particular size as they are all kept together when needed. I would not hesitate to order again.

This is what I would consider a nice novice or entry level file set. Value for money is good if you are in occasionally in need of a variety of files in various shapes and sizes. Functionality is fine, but this set is for what I would consider light use. Some of the smaller files arrived with bent points/tips, which I was able to straighten with pliers. I can’t really attest to durability as I just got them, but they seem to be ok for woodworking and light use on metals and alloys. The roll up storage/ carry bag is a nice addition to the set.
