Honestly I was nervous to try this at first because Iv had bad luck with smaller tanks specially with the filtration. However, the Filtration was only a little strong so I added more media which was a simple fix. The real glass with the bright light makes it crystal clear. I like how nice the tank looks, as it is in a prominent area of our house. However, the fish does not like the filter, it appears to strong for it. We have settled for turning on the filter only a few hours a day. It appears to keep the tank clean.

The aquarium is great, I love the concept for my shrimps. I let the tank run for 2 days and was going to place my shrimps into their new tank, but the pump died. I ordered a replacement, I hope it works.

We used this tank for a betta fish. The first fish did not last long and hid behind the filter the whole time. The second fish also hid but had a hard time dealing with the suction of the filter. I would not recommend this tank for a betta specifically.

For the price of this tank it works very effectively. The filter works smoothly and isn't loud, the sponge does not suck in my fish whatsoever, and the led light makes the tank beautiful. There's only two flaws to this tank, the feeding ring that's sent in the package does not fit the tank size, so it's useless. Due to the ring not fitting, all of the food gets sucked to the rain system (making feeding a hassle).
