    • These boots were made in HEAVEN!
This is my 2nd pair of Taos Crave boots. I have never before these paid much for my boots. I'd get them on sale or not get them at all. But if you are able to swing it (I did it on the Amazon card with 6 mos to pay) these are by far the best thing I've ever done to my feet!!!! They were comfortable right from the start. I generally wear a 9-9.5 depending on the shoe company with average width feet. So a 40EU is perfect. Not much room for a giant sock but a regular one is fine. As far as warmth, they have a soft, fleecy lining so they're toasty warm. The leather is sort of a satin finish but dulls quickly with wear...I like that. They look broken in immediately (but not worn out) This yellow color isn't really yellow. If I hadn't seen them in a store in person, I might have stayed away. But it's more of a fawn color with a slight (and I mean slight) hint of mustard. It's lovely. They look great with jeans or leggings and even though it's not my style, hippie/boho layered skirts would be adorable. Also, the sweater boot toppers would be beautiful with these. They're so versatile...can be more masculine or feminine, depending on the attire. They are just high enough to be comfortable on the slimmer part of your leg under the calf muscle but the laces do give you a lot of adjustability if your ankles are thicker or swell. Nice chunky heel with great tread...perfect for my Maine winters. I have them in Bordeaux as well and that color is GORGEOUS!!!!!! You can only have so many pairs of brown and black boots so these are a great way to change things up. You will NOT be disappointed. ... show more

Love them. No breaking in required. I didn’t like the brown laces so I replaced them with KillianDesigns 60-inch laces.

Love the red Toas boot! It’s beautiful! Fits perfectly, I wear a 7 1/2 or 38 , I haven’t wore it outside or for long , because it’s supposed to be a Christmas present!! A lot of money but I feel they will ll last and will only get more comfortable!

These boots are comfy right out of the box. No break-in period necessary. I can wear them all day. Easy on and easy off with the zipper. I wish I could find the black cherry red ones, but they are sold out everywhere. The steel is more of a blue steel than a gray steel, which I like.

These are beautiful boots and the leather will Not require any breaking in. The sole is not very flexible but you can't really expect that with the chunkiness. I am thinking they may run a little big (contrary to some other reviews) but that does allow for feet swelling and or thicker socks the lacing structure does allow for a good tightening so no worrries. This is my first Taos purchase and although expensive I will try more for sure. ... show more

More green than real. True to size unlike those with plaid tops which run small. I love them. I've ordered multiple colors a couple are off and were returned and I will comment on that do read reviews closely.
