I use the cover on my leather recliner. The item was as described and overall fits well. I did not want the arm covers, so I undid the stitching and removed them, then restitched, and I also added small attachment loops to the cover's the leg rest, to keep it securely attached to the chair's fold-under foot rest. That may be a lot of additional customization work, but it looks finished and comfortable. I can not, at this time, attest to the cover's washability or durability. ... show more

We just invested in two new quality leather recliners last month and have enjoyed them immensely. Unfortunately, so has our Australian Sheppard, when we are away, His claws have already done a number on the leather So we took to Amazon in search of a good cover, We liked these based upon the high reviews and the markdown price on the largest size closed the sale. The covers: Arrived quickly. The packaging is even high quality, a zippered waterproof plastic bag. The installation video is very short and simple. The installation was likewise very short and simple. The fit is adjustable and works well. As you can see, these recliners are large and overstuffed. No problem! The backside of the covers have a soft dimpled surface to prevent sliding. Only thing left to do is see how they hold up to the first wash. But with the quality and attention to detail in these little covers, we're not worried one bit. ... show more

While it does cover a good amount of the surface of the recliner, it leaves all of the corners and edges exposed, and it's texture is a little rough compared to just the uncovered leather surface, or stretch covers. It is simple to put on, seems durable. But the texture is a little uncomfortable.

These covers are extremely well designed. I have purchased others that were too skimpy for my overstuffed furniture. And the backs won’t stay up, even with straps. But the non-slip fabric and the extra set of straps, as well as the generous length on the back and sides provide full, stays it coverage. Love the dark gray color which matches my recliner. Love the pockets to store my remotes. It's very soft and comfortable to sit on. It doesn't slip / slide too much. I do have to adjust it every day but that's only because I'm pulling it down a bit so the foot rest is fully covered then I tuck in the sides. That's no big deal to me; literally only takes a couple of seconds to fix it. The waterproof aspect is wonderful. I needed something that was waterproof because of an older cat that coughs up a furball every now and then. As any cat owner knows when a cat coughs up a furball (or pukes) they usually do it where it's going to be an inconvenience. I came home from work one day to discover a furball on my recliner. Cleaned it up with a paper towel then wiped down the spot with a wet rag. Quick and easy cleanup with nothing seeping through to stain my recliner. I did deduct one star because the elastic strap closest to the seat cushion was impossible to wrap around the back of my recliner. That isn't a big deal for me as the other strap towards the top went around just fine and keeps it secured. ... show more
