It is a good tool for a home owner who wants to do their own stairs. For contractors it is not user friendly for ease of use. The knobs have to be really hard turned to lock in to place. Otherwise it moves and the tread gets marked and cut wrong. It would be better with some type of lever lock system. The little rubber washers will where out rather quick. I did one job with it and will be finding another manufacturer to buy a better one for future jobs.
