This coffee table is exactly what it appears to be: a nicely designed, basic coffee table with a lift-up top that positions a laptop or writing surface closer to someone seated on a couch. It's a bit on the small side, which was perfect for my loft work-from-home office setup. Unlike some coffee tables where the entire top lifts, this one is split in an 80/20 arrangement with the part over the drawers staying static, which I actually really like because it means your actual coffee can stay put while you lift up the top. The storage inside is pretty cavernous and great for shoving clutter to get it out of view, or for storing blankets or board games. The construction quality is average or slightly above average for a furniture piece like this; it's definitely on par with Ikea. The pieces have a nice laminate surface, connect with a reasonably strong peg system, and the finished product looks like the listing photos. I wasn't angry or frustrated after assembling it, which is kind of an achievement for DIY furniture. The final assembly step does go better with two people - I was able to kludge it with one by propping things up, but I wouldn't recommend that. If I was to critique this a little, the tabletop is secure but not overly secure, if that makes sense - I'm not worried it's going to drop my laptop, but it does have a slight wiggle to it when in the extended position. The hardware (pictured in one of my photos) is really strong and connected with a ton of screws, so I think this will have longevity, but it's not completely rock solid. The angled legs did require me to hammer in the non-skid ends because the tips weren't fully installed at the factory, too, but that was a quick fix with a mallet. This is a great little table and I'm glad I ordered it. The lift top means my video calls have a more flattering angle and the extra storage is welcome over the previous ottoman I was using.

TLDR: Decent table that can be a little shakey when the top is extended and up. Got this to store some stuff in our living room and happy with it. It took a little over an hour for one person to put together and easy to follow directions. Overall I like it, but just note that when the top is extended it’s a little shaky. I feel like they could have included sturdier hardware there to not make it quite as shaky as they did, but overall it’s decent.

The mid-century design is very nice and the lid lifting up is a plus. Using as a desk in a small apartment living room and works well for the double duty. Nice piece for the price and wasn’t hard to assemble.

The white finish is crisp and clean and fits well with a variety of decor styles. The storage compartment is a nice bonus feature. The lift top is also a great feature that allows you to easily access the storage compartment and use the table for work or meals. However, the lift top can be a little shaky when I lift it up. While it still works well, it can be a bit wobbly when fully extended. Overall, It's a great choice for a small living room or office space, this is a great coffee table that offers a lot of functionality and style.

This very attractive coffee table is really functional with it's "lift-up" table and shelf area to one side. It was not difficult to assemble; however, because I did it by myself; I had to improvise by using a box to steady the table while I completed the final assembly of the "lift-up" section. The dark gray stain looks great with my gray leather living room set.
