I am really surprised. I'm attempting to do my version of a built in under the window...it's 90" wide, there are 43". It was easier than I expected to put together. The video was the best, however, it was still confusing. That said, I failed high school math x2 and have ADHD. I'm surprised how sturdy and heavy. After I get my second I'll send photos. I purchased another one, from local retail. It was more expensive and not as sturdy...good value for dollar, in my opinion I recommend what I purchased was the white. ... show more

The delivery was on time with great quality. It’s extremely easy to assemble given that the instructions were clear and not difficult to understand. However because of its height and length it’s definitely built more for kid rather than adult use. But overall I like it a lot.

We were thrilled with our purchase of two children's shelves! Our son and granddaughters had a blast assembling one of them in just a couple of hours, thanks to the easy-to-follow instructions complete with helpful pictures. The second unit unfortunately arrived with some shipping damage, but we were pleasantly surprised by the supplier's excellent customer service. They promptly sent us a replacement unit with no hassle after we provided photos of the damage. We were so impressed with their genuine concern and speedy resolution that we would give them a 10-star rating if we could! Overall, we highly recommend this shelf to other parents. Overall this is a very nice bookcase. It is very sturdy and is perfect for my needs. The reasons I could not give it 5 stars are: 1. The "instructions" are extremely inadequate. Fortunately this is not my first time putting things like this together. 2. They don't tell you that you need a phillips screwdriver, wood glue, or a mallet. Actually they don't tell you much of anything. 3. As you can see from the 2 pictures I included there is a problem which I unfortunately did not discover until it was too late. There are wooden dowels that help hold the unit together (I used glue in all the dowel holes). Unfortunately I didn't drive 3 of them deep enough into their holes. When I added the side piece and was tapping it in place those dowels pushed through the particle board and caused the damage you see. Fortunately that side of the bookcase is up against a wall or I would be very unhappy. Get help putting this together, it took 2 of us about an hour to assemble it. The unit is very sturdy and I do like that they include stickers to put over the cams. ... show more

This shelf is very sturdy, and serves its purpose as a low-profile shelf. However, it is incredibly difficult to put together and you can easily damage the unit during installation.
