  • Fit and comfort
Color: Army Green Size: Medium
These pants are just as described and they fit perfectly. So stretchy comfortable, I plan on wearing them on my upcoming flight and hiking trip.

  • Style and Comfort
Color: Navy Size: Small
Love the fit and weight of these slacks, the style too. Washing instructions were a bit disappointing “wash by hand”.

  • Another excellent piece of outdoor gear from Pioneer Camp
Color: Navy Size: X-Large
The Pioneer Camp Women’s Hiking and Climbing Pants are another fantastic product from this brand. If you spend time outdoors and appreciate gear that balances comfort, durability, and mobility, these pants are a really strong contender. One of the first things I noticed is the excellent range of motion. The fabric and cut allow for easy movement whether you’re hiking, scrambling, climbing, or just navigating uneven trails. They don’t feel stiff or restrictive, which is incredibly important when you’re moving through different terrain. The fit is also true to size, which can sometimes be tricky with outdoor clothing. The cut feels practical and comfortable without being overly baggy, and they sit nicely on the body without needing constant adjustment. Another highlight is the material itself, which feels nicely durable. The fabric has a reassuring level of abrasion resistance, which is exactly what you want when you’re brushing against rocks, branches, or rough trail surfaces. It feels like it’s built to handle real outdoor use rather than just looking like hiking gear. At the same time, the material is still comfortable enough for extended wear, which makes them great for longer hikes or full days outside. Overall, these pants strike a great balance between mobility, durability, and comfort. I’m genuinely excited to get them out on the trail and put them through their paces. If you’re looking for reliable hiking or climbing pants that move well and feel well made, these are an excellent choice. ... show more

  • Too tight on the thighs
Color: Army Green Size: X-Large
For an XL pant, these are too tight on the thighs. Especially if they are advertised as hiking pant- one wants a little room for your skin to breathe in them. The waist fits fine, the length is fine, the weight is fine- the thighs are too tight- making it hard to squat, sit move around comfortably at all. For the price, I really expected a better fit than this. ... show more

  • Very comfortable
Color: Army Green Size: Medium
These Pioneer Camp women's hiking/climbing pants are really comfortable. I wasn't sure what to expect as this is my first item from Pioneer Camp. Since I wasn't familiar with how the brand fit, I wasn't sure about the sizing, but I went with a size medium and it fits really well. There's a lot of give and they are fitted, but not tight anywhere, and they feel like there's good articulation and they will be very comfortable for hiking and just active pants in general. It seems like a combination of both spandex and the way they are designed. They look attractive and are flattering since they are fitted. The only pockets are on the front and they don't have back pockets. The inseam on the medium size was 29", but you can roll up the bottoms and fasten them with a button to wear them at a shorter cropped length. Overall I recommend these hiking pants, they are reasonably priced and won't break the bank. ... show more

  • Get these and anything else Pioneer Camp
Color: Black Size: Medium
Can I give these 10 Stars? I love everything Pioneer Camp. I have three of their cropped jackets that I wear all winter long they are lightweight but warm so let's get to these hiking pants. I did not get them specifically for hiking I got them for their water resistance and let me tell you these are the bomb. Did you resist water very well. For reference I am here in New York where we keep having Blizzard after blizzard and while outside doing anything if snow gets on the pants no biggie. For the size I am 129 lb and usually wear a medium large in this type of garment because I like to layer under them in the cold temperatures. I got these in a medium and they fit perfectly over a pair of thermal leggings. The only thing I wish was a little different was the length I'm 5'4 and they just hit at the top of my sneakers but they do tuck in nicely to a boot but I tend to like my pants a little longer. I highly suggest getting these. They're not warm on their own but if you're looking for warm throw a pair of leggings on underneath them and you'll be nice and toasty and dry. Almost forgot to say everything Pioneer camp is quality, well made and I've had one of their jackets for 3 years now and it still looks brand new. Everything is so well snaps, zippers all work perfectly. ... show more

  • Very comfortable but narrow at the bottom
Color: Yellow Size: Medium
These hiking pants are exceptionally comfortable!!! The vibrant yellow color is true to the description. The fabric is breathable. I wore them all day in fairly warm weather and did not sweat at all! The button and tab work easily to shorten the legs of the pants. The one regret that I have is that there is no zipper and not enough give at the bottom of the pant leg to be able to slip over my shoes. Most of the time when I am hiking, I want to be able to put on and takeoff rain pants without removing my footwear. That cannot happen with these pants. So I will probably never wear them hiking… But I like them enough that I might just wear them out and about. ... show more
