I waited two weeks to receive this engineering wood table top. I am remodeling my kitchen, and I want to build a dinner table with a piece of Silestone quartz slab that is left over for the countertop. I was looking for a table top under 5 feet long. The size of this item is perfect. It is about 55" x 28", and it is the perfect size for my new kitchen. My contractor will build out the table with a supported steel frame which I also purchased from Amazon, and top it with a 57" x 30" Silestone quartz slab.

Exactly what I was looking for - round edges with no cable holes. The predrilled holes, which I did not use, are small and barely noticeable. I was afraid that it would come damaged based on other reviews. Glad that the table top was well packaged and no damage was present. Sturdy and good, solid table.

I used this desk as an inexpensive counter over my washer and dryer. I wish I bought it years ago because it is a good drying or folding surface that protects the appliance top. The top of my dryer is rusting and this would have kept this from happening if I bought it sooner. I attached felt floor protectors to keep the desk top in place. It doesn’t vibrate or move when washer or dryer are running.

I bought this desk top for the Jarvis frame, since the size is perfect for my workspace. I was excited about receiving the item and was initially impressed by the packaging, only to realize that one of the corners was cracked. I also had to create new holes to mount the frame (by hand to be careful), only to find that the compressed particles just fell off, making it impossible to keep the screw secured in place. The desk top itself is sturdy enough to hold the weight of my monitor, laptop, a few hard drives, pen/office material organizer, and paper just fine. I'm just a bit underwhelmed from the high price point and lower than expected quality.

The inside of the tabletop itself is sturdy and feels secure. However, the surface finish scratches very easily. I use the tabletop to protect the top of my washer and dryer. When I laid down a plastic box on it, the finish scratched, revealing the wood inside! The plastic box had no sharp edges. I had to hide the scratch with a black Sharpie pen.

I purchased this product for the same reason as EVERYONE ELSE. This is the perfect, inexpensive laundry countertop. Did I want beautiful butcherblock? Of course. Could I afford that? No. This was easy peasy and cheap. I might throw a cube organizer on top too for my linens and towels because my house doesn't have any linen or bathroom storage.
