These bookshelves are very cute for the price- but make sure you measure! I made the mistake of ordering because of the price and the advertised photos, thinking these were taller than they actually are. We have one on each side of our TV stand, and they look nice I just wish they were taller and am trying to think of creative ways to add some height. I put these together on my own and found the instructions to be very challenging (basically just pictures)- you also need to have a screw driver for part of this. I used a drill very carefully for some of the screws to speed up the process, and then hand-tightened- but for the most part, it's all by hand (they include an allen wrench in the materials which was great). The second bookshelf went much faster once I had gone through the process. Besides the height and the difficult instructions, the only other thing people might want to know is that the spots where you screw into are very visible. Probably could be covered some how but it doesn't bother me. Overall, they're really cute looking and seem to be holding quite a bit of things just fine (printer, books, games, decor etc.) ... show more
