Description

These spray paints were developed especially for decorating transparent polycarbonate bodies used in R/C car modeling. Each can contains 100ml of paint, which is the appropriate amount for finishing the model. Paint the body from the inside, keeping the can about 30cm from the surface. After curing apply another coat as necessary. These paints are impervious to oil and fuels, so they can be safely used on gas-powered R/C bodies. Note: Never use these paints on plastic models.

I always use Tamiya PS spray paint to paint my lexan bodies. Remember to use very thin coats, especially with metallic colors!

Spray paint arrived in carefully packaged box. Spray laid down on surface evenly and was dry to the touch with in a few minutes.

This is the best looking blue I've ever seen. There is metallic specks in the paint.... but definitely not overly metallic, just enough so when the sun catches my e-truggy (TRF), it looks amazing! The blue is not too bright nor too dark--it's right in the middle, to me. There was just enough paint in 1 can to do my entire 1/8 truck body with 3 good coats. Also, it sticks to CLEAN polycarbonate very well and I have no areas that are peeling, even after some nasty crashes and hits. So after seeing how nice it looked, I immediately bought another can for future projects. Obviously, I couldn't be happier! ... show more
