Another GREAT Tama product I have 4 of these turning my 2 cymbal stands into 2 triple stands. the mechanics are simple but they hold cymbals in place with their gears on the clamps. If you're a drummer I would highly recommend Tama hardware.

Tama has been making some of the best hardware for some time now. I have used these clamps since they used a geared tilter and 6mm post and i still use them. These in my opinion have the most flexibility compared to other cymbal clamps and definitely one of the most durable. I really like the gearless tilter on these new versions it holds very well and makes adjusting a breeze. The clamp has been updated also with cutouts to save on weight but it still remains strong and durable. The quick release nut is also a nice feature Tama added. I recommend these to anyone looking for a good cymbal clamp to add to their kit. I use it to mount a zildjian k custom 14in fast crash but I'm sure it could hold a heavy weight 18in crash with no issues. ... show more
