  • Keeping ice in tact all day even 2
Size: 64 oz Color: Pro Fire
The media could not be loaded. You need something like this to stay hydrated on hot days, no need to go back n forth to the store fill with ice in the morning and forget about it.

  • My absolute, 100% favorite water bottle maker along with Yeti
Size: 64 oz Color: Touchdown Teal
I'm trying to think of a way to describe how many water bottles I've owned that doesn't make me sound 100% like a random unstable person. Long story short I live in the U.S. South and friends, it gets hot down here. I'm pretty much guzzling water all day long from April through October. Like many people I'm conscious of our environment so I've really tried to stop buying and consuming single use plastic water bottles. I picked up a Takeya brand water bottle a few years ago in Costco, because they were on sale and it was a 32 oz 2 pack, which is the size I tend to carry most often. I was amazed when I went to drink from the bottle a day later and it still had ice in it. I don't know what wizardry this company uses to retain temperature in its bottles, but as the song goes - I like it, I love it, I want some more of it. Since then I've bought virtually every size of Takeya bottle. I even have a couple of the coffee mugs. I've given away almost every other bottle I owned. However, this is the first 64 oz I've ordered because I don't have the space to keep multiple large bottles in the small cabinets which came with our 1950s ranch house. I do have one other, a Yeti, which I use mostly on long car trips or when working for hours in the yard. What I like about this one as opposed to my other bottle is the handle. It's lots easier to carry a big bottle with a handle when you have smallish hands, as I do, and the bottle itself is often likely to be wet. Takeya accessories such as the bumper, lid and cap are tough-made, y'all. I have dropped my Takeyas on their lids many times and honestly have yet to have one crack even when they're a couple of years old. (If you hit it with the car or something, do note that you can buy replacement parts for Takeya products.) These bottles do dent, and the finish will scrape up a bit if you carry yours around a lot, but who cares - you'll have ice cold water on hand when it's hot and humid outside. I filled this one with water and ice and left it in my car on a 90 degree day recently just to make sure they haven't started to skimp on quality, and honestly when I came out after 3 hours I couldn't tell it had been heated at all. Plenty of ice still left and the water had time to cool, and it was marvelous. The advertised time on this bottle is 26 hours cold, which honestly is probably the truth. I doubt it would hold ice that long, but the water will still be cold compared to the ambient temperature. NOTE THAT A FULL 64 OZ BOTTLE WILL BE HEAVY. The bottle which will hold 64 oz volume of water weighs about two pounds on its own when empty. When it's full it'll be four or five pounds. This may not be a great bottle to carry around with you all day because of the weight, but it would be terrific to sit on a desk, in a vehicle or somewhere you won't be fatigued from carrying it. Note Takeya does make a bottle sling for the 64 oz which goes over your shoulder, so that's an option if you do want to carry it. If you're a cold water lover, this is your bottle. ... show more

  • Good water bottle. Flow is a little weird sometimes
Size: 32 oz Color: Champion Blue
This water bottle seems well constructed. It was shipped in just a bag and wrapped with the thin bubble wrap, but there was no damage/dents on the bottle when I received it. I did an initial quick test and filled it with water from my fridge. I took out my thermometer and the water measured 42 degrees Fahrenheit. I left the bottle closed (in my house which was about 70 degrees) for four hours and remeasured the water temp which showed 44 degrees. So in four hours it rose about 2 degrees +/-. By about 10 hours later, the water was still cold and enjoyable. In terms of design, one thing I’ll mention is that I really like how the cap is connected to the handle so that when you open it, you don’t have risk dropping the cap or losing it. We got another bottle where the cap just comes off and you have to manually snap it to a clip on the handle. That’s just one more unnecessary step in my opinion and one thing I appreciate about this bottle. My one issue with it is the flow from the spout. It might be due to how narrow it is, but sometime the water pulses out of it instead of flowing smoothly which can make drinking awkward and potentially spill water on yourself. ... show more

  • Great size, great insulation!
Size: 22 oz Color: Pro Fire
I love the size of this bottle. It's skinny enough to fit in all my cup holders (even with the bumper on, but it does occasionally pull off in my husband's truck), but wide enough that it does tip over easily (like my Stanley one does). It holds a good amount of water. It comes with a rubber bumper (where other brands make you buy it separately). The spout cap is not my favorite (but my son prefers it, and I think it is better for sports... i.e. drinking quickly), but you can order a straw lid for it separately. At least it has an ice catcher to keep the ice from sliding down your throat and splashing the water out too quickly. I can easly fit two ice cubes in the top at a time (nice wide mouth). I decided to test the insulation of this bottle against an uninsulated plastic bottle (left) and a 30 oz Stanley Iceflow (right, $35). I loaded each bottle with 1.5 cups of tap water and 8 ice cubes. After 3 hours, the uninsulated bottle was already at room temperature (72°F). The Takeya was at 40°F (ice probably hadn't cooled the water completely yet), and the Stanley was at 35°F. After 12 hours, the Takeya was down to 37°F and the Stanley was starting to warm (43°F). At the 24-hour mark, the Takeya bottle was still cold (36°F) and the Stanley bottle was still warming (56°). After 30 hours, the Takeya bottle was still reasonably cold (46°F)! Very impressive cold-keeping performance for $30 (at time of review). ... show more

  • I like the handle
Size: 40 oz Color: Pink Sweep
This is a nice 40 ounce water bottle. It has a silicone boot to prevent slipping. I like the handle a lot. It folds down when not in use. Cons include that it can't fit in a car cup holder and there is no straw. It also came dented.

  • Heavy, large and is everything it claims
Size: 64 oz Color: Champion Blue
I recently ordered the blue 64 ounce triple wall bottle. I love stainless steel bottles and have just about every size because I don't use regular drinking glasses. I thought this would be perfect for getting my daily water intake. The bottle is heavy (it's metal) and even more so filled. If you have weakness in your hands or wrists, this may not be for you. It keeps ice for hours. The screw top lid even holds in carbonation. It's a little awkward drinking from the mouthpiece because it's wide. I like the ice prevention pice. It's a big, heavy bottle but works perfectly. ... show more

  • The Best
Size: 32 oz Color: Pro Fire
This has got to be the best water bottle I have ever had! I love the wide mouth for filling. It would be nice to put soups in. It almost seems like it could be used as a thermos, but then there is also the drinking spout, which has a screw on cap, which is so nice, to avoid accidentally opening the lid. I got the 32 ounce bottle, and I think it will be perfect. The carry handle is very nice, as it folds down also to keep it out-of-the-way. It seems to keep my water very cold for hours. ... show more
