Update: My original review was only two stars since I didn’t think it had a zipper mechanism (which made it impossible to close). I found a zipper mechanism after emptying the box completely. The zipper is a tool and not built into the bags. While this worked well, I wonder how long it will be until I lose it. I have not vacuum sealed a bag yet, so cannot review that function yet.     • Thin, leaky. Do not recommend.

Every bag has pinholes or seam issues. The seal works fine, but air is leaking out from at least one point on the heat-sealed seams of every one of the four bags. The design is a little strange. You cannot open the bag all the way because there is an extra heat seal near the top. This makes for difficulty getting stuff in, but helps it keep shape when vacuuming. Oh, another issue: Even with a powerful vacuum, you will not compact this without sitting on it. Sitting is not an alternative, it is necessary. The plastic is about the same thickness as a sandwich bag. The one good thing is the shape after suction. No, I do not recommend. I miss the original Space Bag from the 90s. ... show more
