Tag Heuer Carrera line is classic and timeless by design. There is not disputing that these watches are gorgeous looking and cost a pretty penny for what they are. I bought mine from a local authorized dealer but I just want to throw in my two cents since I don't see any reviews on it yet. First off, the anthracite dial is very handsome looking and it goes great with the case design. I went with the 39mm version since I think it fits my wrist better and not to mention, it just look better in my opinion. I love the straight lug lines of this watch and it is the main attraction of the watch. The curved sapphire crystal give the watch a very sophisticated look and give a beautiful distortion to the dial. Now, there are two major things that I think this watch can improve upon; the movement and the bracelet. As for the movement, it is a beautifully decorated Sellita SW-200 movement, but not regulated. Accuracy can be a hit or miss with this watch. Mine ran about 10 to 11 seconds fast daily, which is not bad but should be better at the price they are charging. Or perhaps putting an SW-300 version might have a better visual impact. In fact, I think they should have gone with the ETA version of the movement since Sellita movements do not yet have the reliable records like ETA movements. Last but not least, the bracelet. Don't get me wrong, the bracelet is beautifully design and feels very high quality in the hand. BUT, and it is a big BUT, the pin and collar system is just so annoying. I don't understand why TAG Heuer can't just use screws to hold the links together! At this price, this is unacceptable! It is such a pain to resize the bracelet; you must be extremely careful and well coordinated to do it (even with the right tools). But overall, I think I can see past the shortcomings (or potential improvements if you must) and enjoy the watch for all its positive features. ... show more
