I really like this coat (navy blue/no plush lining). I would have given it 5 stars but the jacket that I originally received was an obvious return, which is fine but . . . it was MISSING A SLEEVE STRAP. Thanks to Amazon's easy return process I was able to quickly return the "incomplete garment" and get another. The quality of the garment is better than I expected for the price, but the missing sleeve strap was a bummer :-( Not to add to the confusion in sizing but suffice to say I am 6'2", 215 lbs, 38" waist, and typically wear shirt size 17/17.5 neck and 35" sleeves and suite jacket 44R/46R. The size LARGE fits like a glove (mid-calf length and about 3" of slack in the chest when buttoned-up). I intend to use it as a light rain jacket - wearing over a long-sleeve shirt and tie (without a sport coat or suite jacket). I like this jacket so much I'm thinking about getting another one to wear over my sport/suite jackets, in which case I will most definitely have to size-up to an X-LARGE to fit over a suite jacket. UPDATE: Wore this garment for the first time during a light rain (across parking lot and up a short sidewalk to my dentist's office). It shed the water pretty good. Receptionist even complimented the garment as stood just inside the door dripping water. I wouldn't expect this to be a very good raincoat for standing/working in the rain for prolonged periods of time or for keeping dry during a serious down-pour, but for dashing in and out buildings it does the job. ... show more

I was looking for a tan coat for winter that I could still layer, and this turned out pretty well. I will complete this review later, but so far, 1) the color was a little bit tanner than the pictures suggested, though that may have just been lighting of the videos (Most people wouldn't notice the difference, possibly even with a side-by-side comparison). I was wanting a tan one, so it errored on the good side. 2), the size was exactly as advertised. I put this on and my buddy remarked that I looked like 3 men in a jacket with how big it was on me. I added the belt, and it was fine. I have longish arms, so I got a small, and as shown in the video, the XS would have been a better fit...except for the arms. The arms for the S ended up being exactly right, with maybe a quarter inch for growth. The pockets are also a decent size, I was able to put my hands in them, and I have large hands (comparable to my 6'1" 200+ lbs friend). All in all, this was a very good buy, the interior lining is warm, the size was exactly as mentioned, the color was almost exact (half a shade more tan, which I preferred), and it is a big enough fit (especially for me) that I could layer up during the coldest winter. I love this trenchcoat! I was looking for a decent trenchcoat for a John Constantine cosplay but was very nervous when looking for one. I ended up taking a chance with this one and I'm so glad I did! First off, it's way higher quality than I was expecting for the price. It seems sturdy and well put together. Its a decent material and very warm. Its kinda thick but not too bulky. Second, it looks great! I bought it for a costume, but I can see myself wearing it regularly. Only issue was that it ran a little big. I'm a 5'4" tall woman and normally wear a Men's Medium. I assumed it would run big so I opted for the Small size. Even with the small it was still too big for me. When I put it on it reached my ankles and I looked like a dork. It was also a little big around. It looked okay closed with the belt on but it didn't look right open, which was what I needed it for. I ended up having to shorten/hem the end of the coat 3 inches and bring it in about 2 inches to make the coat tighter. Now it fits like a dream! I'm so glad I bought this coat and I highly recommend it to anyone looking! Just keep in mind it runs a little big, especially if you are short or a smaller build. ... show more

Using Mainly for wearing over a suit in the cold months. I like the fact that it is so long, it will really keep your legs warm. Material seems pretty sturdy. Have not had it in the rain yet not sure how water repellent it is. Looks very sharp and feels great. I bought the 2x (XXL). I AM 275 LBS. AND AM 5'11. Not trying to be funny but I have a body type like Homer Simpson not a lot of chest but big gut (hey, I'm working on it). I wore it today over a 52 regular sport coat and it was pretty tight. I guess that's an incentive to drop some weight to have it fit better. Today was 35° out for my first time wearing it and I was glad to have it is pretty warm , I consider this coat to be light to Mid-weight. I would consider one more thing but it didn't keep me from buying it. The collar area doesn't really snap or button so that leaves you with some exposed area in your far upper chest and collar area. I think you could probably use a nice scarf and cover most of that area up. All in all super happy with it especially for the price! ... show more

Calf length, fits as well expected. great quality for the price. Durable, lightweight, machine washable. Typical suit quality. I got the lightweight one as I live in Arizona and we don't have many cold months, but I may buy the heavier weight one as well. I got the black as I already have a khaki in a different brand. Definitely satisfied with the purchase though. I'm 6'2" and 250lbs and the XXL is a perfect fit. ... show more
