  • Definitely a Winner! A brilliant upgrade to any weapon!
Color: Green Laser
An outstanding product. I've purchased numerous items from Tacticon Armament in the past several months, primarily from their website. I knew that this laser sight would be of the same high quality as their other tactical equipment. What really impressed me was that the owner, Jacob, upgraded the shipment from standard delivery to a USPS Priority shipment which arrived far in advance of the scheduled delivery. Included in the package was a very kind and thoughtful handwritten note thanking me for purchasing the laser sights. A personal touch of customer service such as this is somewhat of a rarity these days; thank you, Jacob. All of products of veteran-owned Tacticon Armament are covered by a lifetime warranty. The BattleBeam V1 (BBV1) laser sight itself is very compact and was easily mounted on a Keltec P17 pistol which has a Picatinny rail barely 1.5 inches in size. It lined up so perfectly that I was able to utilize both retaining screws included with the installation kit. With the BBV1 solidly mounted the pistol the ambidextrous ON/OFF switch is ergonomically positioned precisely under the tip of one's index finger outside of the trigger guard. A simple push of the switch activates the laser and than it's simply a matter of moving one's finger tip to a proper trigger hold: a very natural transition. The surface of the ON/OFF switch is clad in a type of non-slip rubber which provides positive tactile control of the switch; tactical and practical. The laser beam itself is brilliant and provides not only an aimpoint via the laser pointer, but also provides sufficient light to illuminate around the target area, providing an increased situational awareness. Also, once the BBV1 was installed it was easily adjusted to match the aimpoint of a laser boresighting device; the adjustment only took a minute. I have yet to employ the outstanding laser sight on the target range, but will follow up with that information. Again, VERY PLEASED with the BBV1 laser sight and will definitely be purchasing several more of these items. ... show more

  • Great value - great quality!
Color: Green Laser
I now have 3 products from Tacticon. A sight, a laser and a flashlight. AllI can say is they all look and feel much more expensive than they cost, and all work per expectations - thus a great value! The no battery feature on these 2 products is nice and very easy to use. Of course I have to used them long term yet, however Jake is great to work with and their products have lifetime warranties and discounts. So I do not worry about that. I also like supporting our veterans as well. Packaging is nice and gives a great feel and plenty of product protection. Instructions are short and sweet and all you need to know. So far I really like their products and their service is even better - definitely highly recommended. ... show more

  • Time will tell...
Color: Green Laser
Really, in today's world, it'd hard to tell what is made well, and what isn't. Remember when we just used to 'buy stuff' without any reviews at all? Those were the days, of course, things were made better, most times too. I looked at a lot of these types before settling on this one, this one has the best reviews, at least, so far. TLDR version: I like it so far, but haven't shot my rifle with it on, but I did find some things about it that you might want to consider. This laser 'seems to be' made well, but, "Time will tell". I had zero problems installing it on a Kel-Tec's Sub-2000 and they have a hard plastic built-in picatinny rail on them, and it fit snug and does not move a bit. I have read several people saying that they had problems with fitment because of the indention were not deep enough on the laser to attach properly. I have read several on other brands really similar, but cheaper elsewhere too. I have a cheap laser like this I bought on e-Bay ($20.) and it was hard to keep it on most stuff, all depending on the picatinny rail, of course. (It just didn't have the 'bite' to grab anything) What I am saying is that if you take a small file and file in the laser's grooves you get rid of that fitment problem instantly. It really only took me about 2 minutes of filing and it was enough to make it fit fine. Instead of "throwing it away" as I have read, or using it as a "cat toy" because it didn't fit, try that, I really think you have nothing to lose. Also, I see a lot of people saying that after a while their laser 'just died' and wouldn't come back on. I have read that from a lot of people, if possible, open it up and check the soldering, they are notorious for REALLY bad soldering jobs on this type stuff. If any of mine do that I will attempt that. This one, I am unsure if it is easily opened up, I don't want to screw up a good thing yet, so I don't want to remove it, yet. Anyway, in case that happens to you, you don't have much to lose attempting a simple soldering job. Batteries and soldering are usually the problems with these, there isn't much to them really, if you hear a rattle, or it just doesn't want to come on, just give it a try, Also, I have also read that the laser light itself is so weak that it's useless, and they junk it, what that is, if it's not a battery problem is, the laser came unglued. (It may be soldered also), at any rate, check it out, usually it's a laser that is bent and facing a different direction other than forward. Like I said, I didn't have any problems with mine, with those particular problems, yet, I hope that I don't. The green laser light is bright and as it should be. I have not been able to use it yet due to I just received it today, but aside from firing it, all of the things associated with them was pretty normal for me. I have several lasers, I love them on my rifles, and now that they are coming down in price, AND size, I'm still buying them. What I don't like so far: The laser's button that you push to make it come on is WAY too easy to accidentally hit with anything, not just your fingers, so you have to be cautious. I mean, if you carry you pistol or rifle around in a bag, it could sure hit that button and make it come on and you'll have a dead battery problem. This is a really bad design, it's EASY when you need it, but it's also too easy when you don't. This particular button isn't the clicking type, it's silent and there is 'no click' at all, like a flashlight, for instance. I would also imagine that if you had gloves on this would be fairly hard to use, depending on the thickness of the glove, but, it's so sensitive that you won't have the 'feel' that you will need to know when it's on, and where it is. At this point I am a bit worried about the battery life, I haven't had any problems with any of mine except for that cheap one that I bought, and it takes button batteries so that in itself sucks. You can't find good ones at all nowadays. I have always bought the larger flashlight looking lasers in the past, these are a LOT smaller, I am hoping for the best out of them too, I sure love the size of them, they are really close to the barrel so your laser is only a little over an inch away, it makes it easier to get a bead after alignment. The larger ones that I spoke of were not bad, but they are 'around' 3/8" difference, I'd say. Every little bit helps. If I have any problems I will, come back and make and edit to say what is going on. This may be beneficial to someone in the future. ... show more

  • Great laser and great company
Color: Red Laser
Great product, laser worked flawlessly on both pistols…decided to use laser on another gun, but didn’t like the aesthetics….went to remount it back on the original pistol, but the laser no longer worked….spoke with Ryan at the company, who got me in touch with customer service…they were great!! they truly stand behind their product and sent me out a replacement laser unit and extra screws…like I said earlier, great product, and a great company….thank you Tacticon veterans for your service to our country and great customer service too!!! ... show more

  • Use on S&W EZ 9mm
Color: Green Laser
I have this on my wife's S&W. Easy to see at night. Easy on and off. I really like the USB magnetic charging even though it holds a charge for a long time. Recommended for an in-expensive laser.
