I love this rake. There's something satisfying about collapsing it to a fraction of its full size when you're finished with it and hanging it on the wall. I measured the width of the tines at 24" when fully extended - that's plenty wide for me. My previous rake was very old with a wooden pole and fixed, red-painted tines that would bend fairly easily. I like the galvanized tines and metal handle of this rake. I do occasionally forget which direction to rotate the handle to lock and unlock it, but once it's locked, it feels sturdy. I'm happy with both the price and performance of this one.

This is the handiest rake I have ever used. Fits all the tight spaces in your landscape perfectly and it is not a cheaply made product. The weight is good and the tool is well balanced. All moving parts move smoothly. Excellent value.

I really like the adjustable width feature! Great for my yard that has a lot of lavender and other small bushes with a ponderosa tree dropping cones and needles and other trees around. I will ding it for being heavy all steel construction, but luckily I have a small yard. Also ding it for being hard to get the handle locked into place. Despite the drawbacks, I use this often and it is my go-to rake. Length of handle does not seem to be adjustable.
